I do feel like the guru ones have the slight edge with the disk to make the audible flop for the fish to home on , matrix was great however I do see that they do tend to wobble a bit more mid flight compared to the guru balsa , I have yet to try the Preston ones but without the flight assist I have avoided them as I have experienced with other similar waglers with without the dart feature
Guru will have the edge on more open waters and audio , however comes expense for stability in high wind conditions water stability and flight
Comes with orange and yellow tips , great feature for different water and lighting conditions , but a bummer if it breaks as balsa can be delicate , however more durable than the foam variant
Matrix definitely for the feature , durability , invisibility and without a doubt value / market availability but it does seem to loose accuracy when fishing with 8mm pellets with depth longer than 2ft

    Hi Dave
    Loving Baguptv absolutely great👍🏼
Use the Drennan Shorty which go where u want them too will try the Matrix floats which look great
Totally agree with u on the Preston, got excited when these came out as I do like Preston gear but couldn’t put them where I wanted too

The Matrix ones tick all the boxes. Both the finesse range and their latest offering which is a similar design to the Guru ones.

The Water wagglers came out a couple of years ago and come in various sizes and weights. I also use these and find them pretty good. The slow sinkers are good for catching F1's

    • @BagUpTV

Yeah they are nice, but when I cast them in and feather the line sometimes they seems to land then jump out the water.

Another great review David, I'm surprised you haven't got any Guru foams, they're beautiful little wagglers and cast where you want them to go, the matrix seems to be a hybrid of the wooden and foam Guru float's but probably better value, I may try some next year

Totally agree about the new PI floats. Used them at the weekend and they are a pain to cast. They don’t go straight. Couple of lads down the lake have installed “Flights” and they are much better. One lad has even glued the Guru tips on to the new PI ones and it’s solved the issue. I can see Gen2 hitting the shops with the same tips as the Guru ones !!

The new Preston ones are crap, wind catches em really bad and they don't cast very accurately.
And the couple I bought to begin with both jumped out of the loaded base on the strike and the balsa float body floats off across the lake.
The Guru and Drennan ones are the best two from my experience.
    Keep on baggin Dave mate

Matrix ones are definitely the best and they don't dive like the others. They do seem like an improved copy of the Guru ones and they're £7.99 for 2. Drennan do some thick flighted ones with interchangeable coloured tips and removable discs above the weights, they're OK but go in with more of a splash than a plop 💦

Nice review but have to disagree on the dumpty / jonarthur floats . I use them almost all the time and find them to be almost faultless and would use them over preston , matrix and guru wagglers on the wind as they dont dive . I find the other wagglers a pain in the wind and the dumpty ones dont spook the fish at all

    • @BagUpTV
