What a great idea these water wagglers are, in this video we look at how to make the floats, when to use them and how to use them to catch big nets of carp from commercial fisheries.
Really good video, cheers Rob. How many of us watched this and then went straight onto eBay to buy some pipettes!! 😆
Thanks for the plug Rob I have been making them and selling them at packington for about the last 12 months.
I was given a water filled float last summer and loved it. I have made half a dozen now with varying water levels.. Cant wait to try them on my next fising trip early in May. I have used 10ml pippete which are easier to see... Ill report back once I have used my version....

When u make them put a small shot in and try and make it sink same rate as the pellet. Work brilliant 🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣

Mine are a few years old now. The water inside them has gone manky. Next time I make some more I will add a bit of bleach to the water.

Been using those water waggs for about 2 years, They come in black, red and white tops. They are suberb.

Rob, this little float works for big carp too, with maggots or worm as a sighter.
I cut the ring from one end of the swivel that goes inside the pipette. Makes it much easier to push it in.

Great vid rob im going to have to try these. One question it might be silly. Your hook length is heavier than your main line. Would your mainline ever snap before the hook length if you got a big fish ?
I’m hoping none of them snap but usually the extra length and stretch in the main line helps that to stay intact for longer
They mate great slow sinking bombs aswell

rob i notice when u winded back , it makes a lot of comotion on the winded back with it filled with water. u think the fish ,will follow the noise in , and come nearer to you
Maybe on venues with lots of fish that haven’t been caught loads.

I ordered 4mm pipets and use size 10 matrix swivels. Glues drying as i write

@@peterream9437 Sorry, I mean the bit at the top that is actually used as the waggler? I’ve seen pictures of them next to a 50p coin and they’re only just bigger, the ones I’ve got look huge next to them
The pipettes I ordered to make some were a 5mm ..perfect..
hi Rob I tried making some today but I found the bore on 3ml pipettes was way too big for all swivels I used. please could you tell me what ml pipettes you have been using thanks.
3ml .... but you want ones with narrow tubes ..... pipettes come in all shapes and sizes ..... if you’re struggling then you can use a short piece from the narrow end of the tube to wrap around your swivel and then place in the bulb

What size pipette?
1ml of water weights 1 gram so a 3ml pipette would weigh 3grams.
What size swivel ?
It depends on how big the tube is in the pippette- it wants to be a tight fit

No glue, use clear bathroom silicone. I've been flogging these on ebay for 18 months... I'm not greedy...lol.
