- A montage of ELDERS returning home from their 2-year missions, in honor of my five sons who have all served missions. The song is called "Coming Home", sung by Tim Gates, from the album "Trek: A Nashville Tribute to the Pioneers". You can visit the Nashville Tribute Band's website at www.nashvilletributeband.com
I've just barely started looking into the LDS church, and on a completely unrelated search I stumbled upon this-- not only did I cry my eyes out, but I have a much stronger conviction this church really is true! Thank you!
Non-Mormon here...What a Beautiful video, I cried the whole way through..What an honor for these young men to be able to serve so completely, I'm sure the people they are with in those two years are blessed for having know them...Well done Elders!!
Greatest privilege.
Wow, this brings back a lot of memories. It has been over 30 years now since I returned from my mission. Words cannot express how thankful I am that I made that choice to spend two years testifying of Jesus Christ and His atonement. I still remember the excitement I had shearing my testimony. You will never forget or regret being in the Service of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, He will repay beyond your wildest dreams.
God Bless
Give your child this opportunity to serve the Lord. You will never regret it. It will strengthen you and you will be blessed all the days of your life and even in ternity. God bless you.
I am not of your faith but over the years I have had your sons and daughters in my home. Sister missionaries have visited here on a regular basis this year. To the Mothers that have children on missions, I want you to know how I love them! They stay for a few weeks then are assigned another area to go good byes are very difficult. :( I can't even describe how much I miss them. I cried watching this.
I'm in this video! I'm the missionary at the beginning (0:21) hugging my mom (in white) and giving her the "I Love You" sign as I walk away. Very cool use of our video! Thanks!
God bless u and ur family
Thanks for your service. 👍
That’s so cool
Besides these wonderful homecomings, what I see is love. And love is the most important of all. When young LDS men knock on our door, they are well received and treated with kindness. Our beliefs may differ but what is the same is we all are children of God and that we love God and each other.
I am not a religious person, but I really respect your values and spirits
Hello Flyingdust1031Cw, Thank you for your message--There is a God (Heavenly Father) who loves you and if you speak with Him in your fashion He will bring comfort into your life (on a very personal level)
I agree and have a testimony of many, many things he has done to help and bless my life
Thank you for respecting my religion. Have you ever thought about ordering a book of Mormon? Or taking lessons from Mormon missionaries? I think if you did you would really learn something. Thank you and God bless you
Elders..because of your reverence and obedience..my kids are now active and baptized!
Even though your sons are young now, the time goes by really fast. I have 5 sons, and I'm on my third missionary already. I still feel like they're all little! But I'm so proud of them, and proud that they are willing to unselfishly serve the Lord. Love them and teach them while you can. Don't miss a moment. Soon they will be leaving with their suitcases, waving goodbye, and you just hope that you've taught them everything you wanted to. God Bless You in your efforts!!
Bless those missionaries that served selflessly to teach others. Without them I wouldn't have the beautiful family I have.
this made me cry 😭😭 can't wait to serve a mission
I saw that you posted that 4yrs ago, and I’m just curious, have you served yet?
Awesome video. I'm a young women with only 16 yrs, my wish since I was 6 its to go to a mission & now I can go sooner at 19. While I was watching this my tears came out just thinking of how beautiful the God's plan is. I thought of my future husband, how proud my Lord is gonna be if I marry an Ex-Missionary. I love God, I believe in Him, I know & feel He is our Savor & I'm really sure that if we follow His commandments we'll get to be with Him again. Greetings from Dominican Republic
It is a love of the Savior that these young men and women serve their Father in Heaven to spread his restored Gospel throughout the world. The Savior gave of his time and his life to give all of us the chance to be able to return home to him someday. 2 years is only a moment compared to the eternal blessings one will receive while serving a mission. This is not a religion that asks it's young men and women to serve missions, but the Lord himself.
I don't know how anybody could dislike this Video. You will never meet a better group of young Men the these missionaries. Look at the joy in their faces, that says it all :)
The two years I spent was the greatest experience of my life. two years is nothing compared to spending eternity with the ones I love and helping others experience that love and blessing of eternal families.
I am so grateful that my husband served a mission!
12 days and my missionary will be home! I cant wait to see my brother again!
Thank you for this inspiring video. Missionaries in the church are still keeping up their faith and testimony even when their mission is over. Hurrah to Israel!
i'm not mormon, but what they do for their faith is amazing. if the rest of us would use half the effort these young people use Jesus would be famous. glad you all made it home.
They are the best of their generation!!!...I'm from Mexico and I love the missionary service!!!
I'll be a missionary one day
I dare you not to cry
so thankful to all the Elders and Sisters for their commitment to save strangers in this cruel world we all live in ^i^
My son is serving in North Carolina. He has been out for a year now and this montage made me cry so hard. I miss my Stripling Warrior but the cost is so worth it. Onward christian soldier!!! :)
Wow!!! How am I going to make it another 23 months and 1 week? I am already so incredibly anxious to hug my son again but I do know he is in the right place and I couldnt be prouder! What a beautiful job on this! I bet many tender memories are held forever this video! Thank you for sharing!
this video made me cry, it reminded me of my mission, the church is true!
I salute and proud to all Mormons missionary.they sacrifice for 18 to 24 months. just to serve other people.they touch so many lives.specially to the people of the Philippines. Cavite mission.thank you very much elder and sister.good bless us!
The BEST thing ever is to have them come home honorably!
Tis is true! So little yet few words to try & explain 2 years of experience. This gospel of Jesus Christ is amazing & wonderful, but what makes it that much more beautiful is witnessing others come unto His fold & being apart of such blessings is worth all the feelings & words of a life time! I tip my hat to every Missionary being apart of this GREAT & MARVELOUS WORK! :)
im from the philippines and i have served a mission, this video made me cry, it reminded me of my mission, the church is true! whoever made this video thank you very much! i know you're a proud mormon just like me! thank you!!!!!!
I was one of them. and..It was my BEST 2 years of my life.!!
As a former member I can tell you its a experience that not many can say they actually have done. Some members are not as fortunate as others to go on a mission. I had to save up and pay for my mission, so I started late. The mission will help you grow as a person and hopefully strengthen your beliefs in the faith. The underlining story is the absolute joy you receive when you come home. Mothers are the best. They never stop loving and thinking about you while your away.
i cant wait to see my boys go on their mission..nothing better in this life then to see lives being changed by the spirit and the love of christ..beautiful video
Even sweeter when it is you, the mom and dad, returning home to all the kids and grandkids!
brings back great memories,. A feeling that i could never ever feel elsewhere,. only in the service of The Lord
Oh God, please bless all the missionaries in the world.
Amen
Amen
Amen
It has been 3 years since I left for my mission in Northern Virginia. :) Thank you for reminding me how much I loved it!
I remember when I came home from ma mission in joburg back in 2006. I was so happy to see them all but the greatest joy came when I thought of the souls I saved back on ma mission.best 2 years of ma life
The missionaries is one of the best people i have met. They are truly great and true people. Good influence and pleasure to be friends with. My Best wishes and Best luck to all the missionaries in the world. Greetings from a Catholic guy from Aklan, Philippines. :)To their proud parents, lucky to have them guys as your kids because they are great people.
I really love this song. It reminds me of my mission. I missed being a missionary. Said goodbye to my mom, my dad, other family members and friends, Served 18 months with all my heart with no regrets but after my mission my mom wasn't there to welcome me. She passed away before I finish my mission but I know He knows best and it's all worth. 😊💕
Have four months until that greeting at the Airport. This makes me cry when I watch it because I relate to how the mothers are feeling.
my brother comes home in two days! god bless his servants of Jesus Christ!

My favorite missionary went back home yesterday and I can't even stand to see pictures of him and his family on facebook because of how much I miss him.
1 week left till I go home to my mom and little sister. This is the best song for return missionaries.
Notice every missionary that gets home hugs there mom first. That's love right there.
so emotional. i have a friend whose brother is going on a mission and im really going to miss him because he showed a great example to me and my family. when we moved in their family welcomed us in and he was my little sisters buddy. im going to miss him so much.
The most exciting part of watching this was seeing my own son coming down the escalator! We must be connected!
Nothing better than missionary work. Tell everyone where you served
Our son comes home in five days on Nov. 16. I have been watching this video every day for the last three weeks and I cry every time. At first for missing him so and now for joy at seeing him again. Thank you for such a beautiful video. Sincerely, Wendy Telford Clark
that's my boy at 31 seconds. Great video! Made me cry. Can't wait for my boy to come home.
So awesome and touching to see all the joy the give to people about the Gospel,I so much pray that one day one of my family can go on their mission they dnt know what a Great Blessings that will be for them and their family.but I am so happy that one of my Young Women I thought is on her mission that brings so much Blessings to her and her parents to be able to know that she is sharing the Gospel with others.i
Thank you from a first time missionary mom!!!
Missions are wonderful service to others. I love the work, and anxiously the return of our son from North Carolina this March! God speed.
I was sad to leave my family when I went and I was thrilled to see them again when I returned.........It's not an easy thing to leave your family and give up two years of your life.,,,,,,,,this video is Beautiful !
I feel humbled whenever I see this missionaries re-uniting with their family members and friends.I'm waiting for that day to go and serve my full time mission. God bless all missionaries
Brings me back to June 2011. The day my best friend (now husband) got home from his mission. Brought back all of those emotions!
serving the Lord is great thing that someone can do in life time, missionary work is divine
My son just arrived to the Busan South Korea Mission. He is doing the Lord's work and I am grateful for that. But your video reminded me of my mission, which brought back those memories and coming home and hugging my mom. Thank you for sharing this video with the world. It helps to know there are young men who love their moms
go LDS Missionaries i was so happy to see my older brother come home;)
remembered my arrival. Excellent movie.
What a great video. I remember coming home from my mission, in NZ we have a tradition of welcoming home missionaries with a Haka. A mission isn't everything, but it certainly gets you brownie points with our heavenly father :D
this made me cry tears of happiness and sadness. My little brother has been gone in Nicaragua for almost 4 months, and I miss him so much. My older brother gets his mission call in 2 weeks and I am so excited to have two brothers out in the field. AND!! My missionary comes home next wednesday!!! Love my missionary! :D
I'm not a Mormon, I'm an Evangelical Christian but I think this is sweet! It's like when a soldier comes home, it's so heartfelt. God bless you all!
Im crying and I'm not a Mormon. Touching video. The holes in their shoes got me, not to mention the sacrifice these young men make!
I love the lady at the end who is suprised by one of twins who comes home early. That just gets me everytime I see it.
I'm so thankful my son love's his Heavenly Father enough to chose to serve a mission! When he comes home he will be more of a man the Lord want's him to be! I'm so thankful for the many blessings of the scriptures, and all they teach. Five months and three baptism's, so far you go Sterling!
I owe my life to the missionaries, they saved me for sure, these two years help them as well, it has to be the hardest task on earth, knock knock slam slam if only people would listento what they have to say, brainwashed hell yeah cleanest brains I ever met, and ever will :-> god bless the 70,000 LDS missionaries world wide
Wow this is an amasing song for return missionaries, and we can't wait to see our kids going on mission. Thank you for the song Tim Gates..
We just sent my baby brother off. I am missing him very much:( I can't wait for the day he comes home!! This video makes me cry everytime I watch it.
This made me remember. The feeling that I never wanted to go home. Who would have thought the idea of coming home would be the same feeling as the thought of going on great vacation.. where you want to stay two weeks then go back in the field.
Very touching seeing missiories got home and to be with their families after two years... I salute you all missiories who spread the word of God and sends other people to back unto Christ! Good job elders!!!
Makes me proud and bless the selfless ones that taught me.
Dropped off my son at the MTC on December 4th, 2013, his sister's birthday, and felt like I left a big part of my heart behind when we left for TC, Az. Icy road distraction made heading home easier, but emotions were hard to handle when my three year old grandson asked if we could "now" go pick up his uncle from church.First son , grandson, and nephew to go on a mission, what an inspiration for his cousin of age 6 who said he wants to go on his mission. I loved and cried as I watched video the first time, and looking forward to my son's homecoming. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for all the missionary in the world Lord they really do an amazing job and blessed so many life of many people in the world. I have meet lots of them and love them all God bless them always
oh wow.... this video totally made me cry :) i imagine my self in the airport waiting for my 3 sons when they go to their mission. which the oldest of my sons is 4 and the middle one is 15 months and the littlest is 2 months now..... its along way to go before that but i'll make sure they each know the importance and the blessings that comes with giving up 2 years of their lives to serve the Lord and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Its been 14 years since I came home... but man this brought back lots of good memories.. Thanks
This brings tears to my eyes. Happy tears. BOTH of my older brothers went on missions and i remember how happy i was to see them when they came home.
I miss my call..
i'm so proud all missionary in the world...
This video make me cry .... because I think in the moment that my child goes to his mission ..they are 8 ,4 and 2 moths old now ..lol ...but I thinking in they missions now . Elder you are really special Angels ... I truly appreciate your work love Elders !! ;)
Nothing like 2 years to bring out the emotions...how cool.
I am struck by how most of the missionaries first hugged their mothers. LDS moms give thier every ounce of their effort to raise sons and daughters that are strong enough to serve missions. As a RM and mother of two boys, I pray that one day I will welcome both of my sons home from their missions. I only hope that I can teach them and they will choose to serve the Lord.
I'm crying so hard right now. I plan on going on a mission soon so I'm going to miss my friends and family a ton, I'll be very emotional coming back. Also for my future sons and daughters who decide to serve.
im not mormon but when i watch this video, makes me cries all the time. beautiful video. i can feel their affords spreads their beliefs eventho theyre bein rejected by others.
Hope some of the missionary' s will come back to visit here in Jacksonville Fl. This video only increased my need to serve :) I CANNOT WAIT TO RECEIVE MY CALLING !!!
There are no greater people you can meet than Mormon Missionaries.
I'm so grateful for all the work they do. Bless them and their families.
I cried my eyes out, my boy comes home in 88 days! (only a momma can know the exact day). Beautiful video and song, thanks for sharing
Wonderful video. This makes me think of our two grandchildren who are currently serving. It also reminds me of the wonderful missionaries we met in Germany on our mission and hundreds of others who serve valiently and the special families who support them.
You are so Spot on. We have a GREAT Group of Kids in the field.
this video makes cry a lot of people , the last time that i saw it was 2years and a half ... now i have almost 6 months of misionero retornado , it´s like a dream ... wooow increible
Ah I started crying! This is such a beautiful experience. My grandma and grandpa just left for their second mission together. My brother leaves next year and I can't wait for him to return and tell us the wonderful stories of serving the lord!
My cousin is leaving for his 2 yr mission on Wed & I'm really sad that he'll be gone,bc we are super close, but it helps the pain to know he'll be teaching the gospel to others!!
Wow, congrats! Astig ang Naga Mission... Best in All the Land! Naserve ako sa Naga din! I loved it! Kumustahin mo sina President and Sister Bliesner kay Elder Valentine! You'll love it, mahal na mahal ko talaga ang mga tao doon. Ubusin mo ang lahat sa mission mo, kinakailangan iyan ng mga aki ng Diyos.
Thanks for this video! My son comes home in 9 1/2 months from the Dominican Republic and I think of this day often!!
This is very sweet. We have one son out. He has a year left .We've gone to get our 3 other sons, and will head down to Argentina in a year to get the last. But our daughter...
This was a great video. It even found our son in the beginning of this video waving goodbye at the MTC.. Thanks for putting this together. He comes home in 3 months 21 days. Not that I'm counting... Just as a reminder for my wife....
Bawled through the entire thing. PERFECT song perfect movie. Should be shown in seminaries. Thank you for creating this.
NASHVILLE TRIBUTE!!!!! I love this band, I just looked up LDS music, found this playlist and they have Nashville tribute! they are not well known enough, but they are the best
