It is extremely concerning, but the parties in our government are working for two different things, instead of the great USA and we the people. One wants a sort of coming together and working together for the betterment of everyone in the world, and the other party that wants to be above and on top, in control of every other nation on the planet and all people, no matter the cost. Even at the cost of their own country! It's incredible. The forces behind this are working hard and it shows.
I've been an independent, little i, person not party, since I reached voting age many decades ago. Not anymore. I won't consider voting for a Republican for an office from city on up. And I live in a red state. They would have to actually stand up against everything the Republican party has become and I have no hope of any of them doing anything even resembling standing up for America.
