That is so cool! I have never seen this movie so I'm really looking forward to it, thanks for letting us know (I'm sure Yunte Huang's going to be selling copies of his book in the lobby as well😉).
I've always been a little confused about this film. Apparently it's a silent film but IMDb lists in the credits Music by Max Pflugmacher, which isn't abnormal a lot of silent films had scores written for them, but it also lists a soundtrack that has Anna May herself singing a song called Einmal kommt das Wunder der Liebe by by Hans May and Fritz Rotter (lyrics). So I'm wondering how that works, or was the soundtrack entirely separate from the film itself?
The giveaway is very thoughtful and kind of you but I couldn't enter because I don't have a favorite Anna May Wong film. There's about 5 that are tied for 1st place ('The Toll of the Sea' as depressing as it is, 'Daughter of Shanghai', 'Dangerous to Know' as depressing as it is, 'When Were You Born?', and of course ''Shanghai Express').
But I'm 99.9% certain I'll be going on my own anyway so I hope to see you there and say hi. Sorry you're not feeling well but I'm glad the new job is working out.

I saw that on IMDb as well. I'm not sure as I haven't seen the movie yet either. That would be cool if we were able to hear her sing. It is very difficult to pick just one Anna May Wong movie! Hope to see you there as well!
