Bill Lewis MR6 is my favorite. Love the bill and the paint job never chips, rock solid, and the hooks are amazing! Snagged a huge carp on accident and the bait was completely unaffected. I've been cranking for 25 years and used a lot of crankbaits. Hands down my favorite.

I remember that commercial Mark. It changed the way I pronounced Ra-pa-la also. I pronounced it Rap-a-la for years before then.
You guys should do at least one JDM bait for each rate the bait Lucky Craft, Jackall or OSP etc. I know you guys got them lol
Agreed! Every bait in the Blitz line is easily in the top 3, imo many of them are number 1, crankbaits on the market within their specific category. My take on JDM baits, even though they’re expensive, they really aren’t. Let’s say that, on average, I have to buy 5 Strike Kings in order to get one that truly fishes decent enough without me having to file, sand, counterweight, etc.. it. Note: I’m not talking about tuning or running straight, I’m specifically talking about the way it moves as bring it in. Of the other 4 I might get 1 that can work well enough after tinkering with it. The other 3 I may as well throw in the trash. Whereas if I buy 3 OSP, Evergreen, Nishine, Duo, Megabass, etc. I spend roughly the same amount of money and got 3 baits that run perfectly instead of 2. In the the end buying the $20 baits was either cheaper or equal to buying the $10 baits.

Mark my guy next rate the bait should be a bait of each of your choice. You should each bring something to the table that either one of your favorites or even a bait that got a lot of hype but just doesn’t catch em

I get way more tail action out of a squarbill compared to rapala dt6 which is basically that bill Lewis bait MJD popped out. Just my opinion. Grass u just can't get that squarbill through like u can round bill. But stained water I'm gonna toss that square because of all the extra wobble even around grass just gonna barley tick it . Also believe it's louder with a knocker or beebees . So again really going with square 70% of the time midwest

Top water prop baits. Smithwick devils horse.
H20 prop wash is as good of a prop bait as anything made….swap out front hook for a #4 round and add a chartreuse feather to the back and it good to go!

Mark the only true answer is your imagination and ability to visualize what's going on at the time you are fishing and knowledge of the body of water you are fishing you can go to the county DNR office and get a lake map you can probally get digital versions that link to your sonar systems now if not I got dibs on that idea but you can play with different weights on your line or leaderto get alot of floating shallow range down to the depths you can use a dremel and shave the point that hits in a jointed lure a little to change the action to what you want it to do the more you expiremrnting you do the more deadly your arsonal will become you want to have as many things as possible that separates you from everyone else when the fish are pressured in knockout and championship rounds a little modification that you make on a lure can mean the difference between wondering what you could of done and people wondering what you are doing good example me and 4 buddies are on lake michigan perch fishing and I had a crappie rig that I changed the standard gold hooks it comes with to red yamagatsu hook that was were similar in size and it was slow that week for everyone they just wasn't biting good and I put on and I was pulling up doubles as fast as I can get fish unhooked and get repaired and line back down to the bottom and nobody else on the boat can catch a fish with gold hooks out of 4 person 140 fish limit my buddy said he would bet his life t caught at least 130 of them
