I love the River2Sea frogs and hardly throw any others.
You need to do flipping baits (pre-beaver). Lizards, Tubes, Brush Hogs, etc. Before every creature bait looked the same.
I could listen to y’all honestly talk baits for 37 hours. Lol By far the best series on CZcams for us bass fishermen!

Live target frogs are bar none my favorite frog out there. But I’ve been recently experimenting with the Jackall Kaera and it’s been sweet too!

Livetarget hollow body frog 🐸 beef hooks and plastic is super soft. My go to 💯
For the frogs “stiffer” out the pack, let them sit on your dash board during the daytime on a hot day and the heat will make them softer without overdoing it.
I throw a frog a lot, my favorite frog is the Live Target brand very soft but I do tweak the hook bend!!
I'm loving what you guys are doing with rate the bait, but I'd love to see you guys expand this into all fishing related gear. Like rate the boat, rods, reels, fishing line, rain gear, sunglasses, electronics, etc. Thanks for the content, and keep it coming.
They’ll get there eventually but respectfully you can catch fish with any boat, rod, reel, line and so on but it all comes down to what you’re fishing and how you’re fishing it or what’s best, they’re simply giving their best advice and thoughts on their favorite baits they use and what will catch fish the most. 👍🏼

Best frog color, in my opinion, is a black frog with chartreuse accents to it. Sooooo many big ones caught in Alabama. Rate the bate is one of the best ideas to do on CZcams I've seen👍👍👍

I’ve become a huge fan of the 6th sense vega frog. I feel like it’s that most versatile frog, you can pop it walk it make it jump skips well. It’s been my go to lately
I second this. I've been fishing the black frog on a muddy pan fish dominant lake and popping it over ledges and big ones have been coming out of cover to smash it.
I've found certain colors of the spro are more likely to have the perfect softness you guys were talking about. Anyone else find that too?

@@jimmcculloch5825 ive got probably 8 of the popping frogs....translucent colors seem softer to me then the lighter color painted ones. The hard whites and bluegill color of mine are the hardest. Yellow sparkle and neon glow are my softest ones. My sunfish colored one is very soft too.

Gotta leave all the frogs in the package and on the dash of the truck on the way to fish. The heat makes the plastic squishy and helps me a ton.

If you use powder it’s gotta be baby or talcum Powder. Flour clumps bad when wet. I use the desiccant packs that come in packages. I just recycle them to my frog boxes when I get them. They work great!

Great video... never fished Red Man, but I fished Florida Pond Jumpers back in the day. 14 ft, 15 hp, max! No electronics,,, Little boats, fishing big Lakes. Kissimmee, Harris Chain, Winter Haven... we caught some 30 lb bags...

I'm a big fan of the Teckel frog, everyone loves the Sprinker single tail but the Teckel Honker is up there with the SPRO.
Wheeler may find it interesting that Snag Proof was manufactured just down the road from his old stopping grounds in Blue Ash, Ohio. (North suburb of Cinty). Cool small mfg company, nice folks to talk too. They had most all their designs hanging on a wall on display. Still have a handful from the 80's in the tackle box. New owners have the Scum Frog brand too. Great video gents, thanks for sharing your experiences and tips. All the best
FishLab Rattle Toad is the business. Strong hooks, you can bomb cast it, easy walking bait, and a great hook up ratio.

I’ve caught most of my fish on the River2Sea Bully Wa frog, but he’s trash on mats. On mats Bobby’s Perfect frog is definitely my go to! The Spro flappin frog is an absolute killer as well on open water.
The River2Sea Mat Daddy frog is a great frog in the mats.
I love the Spro and so does my buddies. They are actually reps of spros. They have caught probably 20 double digits on a spro frog. The biggest being almost 14. Now my favorite frog its the SCUM LAUNCH FROG! Then the Popping perch, Matt Allen bully was and Booyah padcrasher. My largest fish came on the bully WA weighing on around 10 lbs.
Culprit also had a worm called a sticky worm with that Velcro . caught my biggest bass to date on it in a mocassin color
Snag-proof rat's were the Bomb! Wish they would start making them again.
Surprised you guys didnt talk about the koppers or ish’s phat frog. Spro are good frogs but the plastic is so thick out of the box, good hardwear though…ever since trying the padcrasher ive never been back, great walking frog. I do agree on the skipping, weight and mat fishing aspect though but mostly fishing open water sparse grass. Good stuff.
6th sense Vega frog is money. So versatile. Before it, I was booyah pad crasher all day every day. Y’all tried it?
Spro poppin 60. Midnight walker in color. My absolute favorite.
Spro is my favorite that she still readily available but my #1 frog in my arsenal is the snag proof poppin phattie (now discontinued)
In my opinion I feel like the pad crashed jr is my favorite it just is a smaller presentation idk I jsut bend the hooks up and out also the spro I like but I have lost some giants on it
I fish a lot of shallow ponds that are choked out with grass and sometimes a frog is the only thing I can throw effectively. When I can get away with it, I prefer throwing toads because the hookup ratio is far better than a hollow belly frog. If you haven’t tried the toads that float when you pause them you’re missing out. I like the Zman but my favorite by far is the Savage Gear duratech toad. I’ve caught more 5 and 6 pound largemouth on it than any other lure.
I actually like the strike king poppin perch in warmouth. It’s my go to. When I want to downsize I go to spro in ayu flash

surely there is a way to break in the harder frogs. sit in the recliner watching tv and and just keep squeezing it. Maybe boiling it quickly, I dunno Im thinking out loud.Love this series BTW
I would like to see what y’all think about the 6th sense Vega Frog and the Toad Thumper frogs! I think the Toad Thumper is one of the absolute top frogs there is!
Another issue with the Spro frogs is that the plastic will sometimes stick up way above the hooks and the hookup ratio is terrible. They’re inconsistent as mentioned. With that said, the popping Spro gets bites probably better than anything for me walking in open water. I just wish they were more consistent to have a better hookup ratio. Booyahs get bites as well but the hooks will bend out pretty easily.

Deps Buster K is the best frog hands down, it’s a pooping frog but fishes in mats and pads great too

I learned to throw the frog back in the 90s by talking to Alford Williams on Ross Barnett reservoir he would not tell u where but how lots of pads on Barnett back then l think it’s great the was u break down baits!!!
I have to say I like my booya frog over my spro frog but that 6th sense is one you need to try I have it in the poppin frog and Love it
New Megabass big gabot frog is amazing… You guys have to try it…
The frog DC was talking about is the spro flapping frog…deadly frog but it can only take one fish so it’s not worth it. You can try to glue it to help but it doesn’t work that good.

Probably can't even commit an that's OK. Most people follow the Piching Pong than the other side is kinda Old an Boring. I'm old, don't get me wrong. Defoe is still getting it done. I don't even follow KVD anymore. It's a wash, just being onest...
Yall are right about the Spro Flappin Frog, it's junk. And they used to punch a Frog to win those snag proofs. Now there are rules stating you have to fish a Frog as intended on topwater.
