Despite being my senior, she respected me as a younger Christian in age and my being recently converted and easily worked with me as music leader in two groups that I led in High School, The Starlights and The Ambassadors..." "I wrote Wimbo wa Maria in 2020 during the pandemic following a deep reflection on the song of Mary or Magnificant recorded in Luke 1:46-56 cited below. ... For some time now I have wanted t to sing with Mary again and this was a good opportunity. I asked her to come to the studio in December 2020 when she was visiting with my family. She agreed and in minutes I had the basic track laid. she did her verse and left. I have just recently put it together. I hope this can help you enjoy the message of Christmas in a new way as you join me in trying to capture the joy that was in the little girl, Mary, when the angel Gabriel brought her the news that she would become the mother of our Lord!"

Mary stayed with Elizabeth for about three months and then returned home.
