Just like with their Ponce's Concerto del Sur performance , it is positively evened out with everything put on display. There's so much to hear this way, and the music becomes very wholesome and clear. I think I prefer this to the actual version with the orchestra - definitely a performance to enjoy.

Another knockout arrangement and performance to follow the Ponce. Mr Dylla always seems so incredibly intense sometimes think to myself the world is a slightly safer place as he has the guitar as an outlet!

The magic of transcriptions, as Segovia said, for Albeniz's music, a sort of return to the guitar. The part of the orchestra has become magic for two guitars and Marcin's part consolidates perfectly.

I still listen from time to time their astonishing performance of Ponce's Concierto del Sur. Now they delivered another top-quality arrangement of Villalobos' concerto, which is incredibly well executed. Will we see another concerto arrangement? I hope we do without waiting 10 years as we did to see this one after their last!

J'ai toujours pensé que le trio de guitares est la meilleure formation car cet ensemble révèle toutes les possibilités de la guitare et lui permet des transcriptions sérieuses des plus grands auteurs, dans l'équilibre et sans redondances . Bien-sûr, il y a les merveilleux interprètes que vous êtes. Félicitations, vous œuvrez pour la guitare. Bien que je poursuis ma recherche musicale dans le chant médiéval et baroque après 40 ans de guitare, je suis heureux de vous écouter magnifier cet instrument et j'espère que votre entreprise dépassera le monde de la guitare pour aller surprendre le monde de la musique et , soyons fous, le reste du monde aussi. Here’s another opinion. I think very much is lost in this kind of transcriptions, for instance the orchestral colours and the dialogue between soloist and orchestra. Classical guitar players may be able to filter out the solo part, but for others it can sound like a raspy blurr. Reminds me of the transcriptions of Bach’s Brandenbourg Concerto’s by the Amsterdam Guitar Trio some decades ago. Ofcourse there’s nothing wrong with it, it’s just not for me. But I would like to coin a new term here: transcriptionitis, which is the incessant urge of classical guitar players to transcribe any kind of music for 1..n guitars, by lack of a decent and big enough repertoire for the instrument.
