About the Beijing Guitar Duo:
Praised by the distinguished Classical Guitar Magazine as “having the star potential to serve as inspiration for new generations of guitarists to come,” the Beijing Guitar Duo made their New York debut in Carnegie Hall in 2010 and launched their international concert career.
Guitarists Meng Su and Yameng Wang make up the Beijing Guitar Duo. The duo has performed around the world in halls such as the Concertgebouw, Palau de Musica, Tchaikovsky Hall and the National Theatre in Beijing. This season will take them to a 12-city concert tour in the United States in February (Washington D.C., Cincinnati, Cleveland, Chicago, Detroit, Milwaukee, Knoxville) as well as other performances in Europe and China. The duo regularly collaborates with orchestras, in ensemble with flutist Marina Piccinini, the Grigoryan Brothers and with their mentor Manuel Barrueco touring in Europe, Australia, Asia and the U.S.

OMG, I have to say something. I was immediately attracted after the first note. They are so good. The tone of the note are so perfect at the right moment and their connection is so fluid. It looks that they are not even trying that hard but it was so perfectly presented. The sound of the guitar cannot be better. They are indeed the best duo.
Thanks to everyone who helps make this happen, what a wonderful performance.
Both students of Professor Chen Zhi, they have long been known for their flawless technique and great musicality.
Truly an outstanding ensemble. Also a great choice of program.
Beautiful! Bravo! Valses Poéticos by Enrique Granados (1867-1916) (arr. Gruber-Maklar) Well done. Thank you!

How many people were in the hall?
well, I did enjoy the 5th piece
What a great concert. Too bad it ended so abruptly.
If they are both good soloists, both of them will assert themselves, making it difficult to listen to as a duo. I have to tone down the parts where I'm in charge of accompaniment.

There is nothing much more annoying, devastating, infuriating, confusing, and/or straight up BS than trying to watch two world class guitarists when the camera guy keeps zooming in on one, or the other. They're BOTH doing stuff the WHOLE time.
This isn't Van Halen. We don't need close up, close up, close up, CLOSE UP.
If we absolutely MUST have multiple camera angles of a duet performance, let's try to catch both of them in every angle, please.
I love this, but I can't even watch it.
The video editor is not the artist. The artist is the artist.
Amazing Duo!! So beautiful!
