- One of my first big videos was Christmas at Hogwarts. Well, I thought a nice surprise would be a remastered edition for this Christmas! Enjoy a couple added songs and updated visuals. Merry Christmas everyone!

These sounds are always so nostalgic, they make me sad. I know that I’ll never be at Hogwarts, playing Wizards Chess while feasting with all of my friends. But you know what? That’s just the beauty of it. If I wasn’t introduced to Harry Potter, I would never get to experience how emotional it makes me. I would never get to see Hogwarts, blanketed in a soft snow and illuminated with bright lights. And what’s the point of being sad about it, if at least I get to see Hogwarts in its glory? I might not get to go to school at Hogwarts, but I got to experience the best of it in the books. I wasn’t just reading: I was joining in on their journeys.
try watching all the movies first, then read all the books. There are information gaps of course, but it helps you easily imagine character's faces without forgetting their names lol. and also the spells, hogwarts itself, and the other places.

Your comment made me feel so much better. This past month I’ve rewatched the films and am almost halfway through rereading the books. I grew up with Harry Potter like many others. Lately I’ve been feeling that strong sense of yearning, just like I did when I first experienced this world. I want to get away from this maddening reality we live in and jump into the Wizarding one. But the way you said it, I think I’ll be just fine.

That sounds lovely. I moved to Pennsylvania a couple years ago and I’ve seen snow a few times and it’s so awesome. I love to touch it and squeeze it in my hands. I know I sound like a kid, but I lived in Texas for 10 years where it didn’t snow and so now I’m enjoying it every chance I can. Plus, I’m blind and it’s just so aesthetically pleasing to the touch.

I really hate how some churches are putting this movie down! its fantasy, not REAL wicca! they should pay attention more to the REAL crimes like murder, rape, etc. its a harmless kids movie!

I'm old enough to have grown up with Harry Potter. I waited in the bookstore for books 4-7 on launch nights. This is my childhood come back to life. I credit Harry Potter for my love of reading now. It is a truly magical world!
For me, Harry Potter was my childhood. I felt like I was a part of that magic, a friend they took with them. I had friends, sure but none of them really understood what it meant to be a little odd, or misunderstood. With Harry, Ron, and Hermoine, I felt it was okay to be just a bit of my actual self watching these movies, and reading those books, thank you so much for these characters J.K. Rowling, and thank you, friend, for making this as magical as the movies!

I never thought I'd ever get so overwhelmed by some music. It gives me both a happy but sad feeling when I listen to this kind of music. I'm happy that this universe exists in the fictional world and that we got to experience it in our lifetime. But it makes my chest hurt at the thought that I will never be able to physically set foot in this world and it will always just be a fictional story to me, even though for most of my childhood it felt as though I was always there.
Regardless of how we now feel about J.K. Rowling, we can't deny how much Harry Potter has transformed our lives and how incredible this story really is.

i truly wish i was at hogwarts right now, enjoying a feast in the bright Great Hall with my closest friends, unwrapping presents in my dorm room, drinking hot chocolate by the fireplace in the common room, having large-scale snowball fights, visiting hogsmeade on the weekends and trudging through the snow... i didn't think it was possible for me to miss a place I've never been until now. thank you ambient worlds, this is beautiful.

Mark The Dark that wasn’t the point of my comment. It’s like all those memes of the fifth year. Also I consider fawkes to be Christmassy because he is fire coloured and literally bursts into flames before being reborn. He heals and his song brings joy.

I used to sit up through the late hours of the morning reading the Harry Potter books when they had been released. The films obviously had nothing to the books but in their own right really recaptured the magic that I felt when I was following the books. Listening to.this soundtrack just kicked me right in the feels, nostalgia abounds!

I did this when it was snowing at my place in Texas. It brought me happiness and peace to myself. Seeing it snow outside my window. It made me imagine myself outside of Hogwarts seeing so many wintery magic all around me. Thank you, for making my day more better.

This is just so nostalgic! I remember waiting in line for the books, or getting tickets to the midnight shows when the movies released. When I finally got to visit the studios in London, I cried when I got to the room with the Hogwarts replica. So many of us grew up on Harry Potter and this is just perfect. Thank you for making this!

I actually can't listen to Ambient World's content because I always start crying within the first five minutes. I'm trying to find one where no tears are shed, to no avail.
This film with all the particular in it are so legend. It will be forever for sure. OMG
not me crying because I want to go home. I want to go to Hogwarts. I know it sounds really stupid to people, but think about it. Harry met so many great people there. Harry was basically living off crumbs at the Dursley's home, and Hogwarts made him forget about all of it. There are so many things I want to do, explore, but I can't do that because I have never met a actual good friend. That's why I want to go to Hogwarts. To make true friends, explore, have fun, and even possibly find love. It may never come true, but that doesn't mean I still can't believe.

I always tell my husband how cool it would be if someone built a hotel that completely mimicked the actual school with the rooms and the whole 9 yards! If i were a billionaire i would built hogwarts and his grounds in Scotland, giving people the opportunity to have a reservation, receive their letter at home, take the train from London to Hogsmeade station, stay there for a week exploring every room of it and experience some teaching lessions made for fun, having lunch all together in the Great Hall, sleeping in dormitories, shedding a tear of nostalgia at every step...with ambience music and effects all around the castle...

I would build a full scale wizarding world on the East Coast in America. Students would receive their Hogwarts acceptance letter, and it would be for all ages. I would build Diagon alley where students can buy their school supplies and receive their wands via the PotterMore quiz. I would do the same for the sorting ceremony as well. on September 1 they would board the Hogwarts express and arrive at HogsMeade station. I would build a Hogsmead village as well. There would be feast every night in the great hall. The ceiling in the great hall would be made of glass so that you could see the sky. I would make fake snow that would fall from the ceiling in the great hall. The moving staircases would be like escalators. There would be electronic portraits hung on the walls. You would be able to do magic similar to how you would do it at the wizarding world of Harry Potter, were you would just point your wand at a specific spot and do the spell, and it would happen. I would build the Hogwarts library as well. Students would sleep in their house dormitories and spend free time in their house common rooms. The room of requirement would be a place where students from all houses could hang out. The Harry Potter soundtrack would be playing from speakers built into the ceiling. I would place hogwarts on the lake in the grounds would be the same as in the books and films. I would also build a Quidditch pitch where you could play Muggle Quidditch. i’ve actually taken the time to write all this down in my journal to build this world.
That sounds like HEAVEN! All our inner child’s are begging for a chance to do that
