The FM Frequency Festival appearances were all cancelled mostly because of Covid. As to her recording contract Simon Cowell sold Syco Music and the label to Sony Music in 2020, and Sony shut it down. Courtney just announced in Jan 2023 she is now an independent artist and has a release date for he first original song release very soon. The song is called ' Breakable'. In may June 2023 it will be five years since her famous AGT audition. She is 18 soon to be 19 in July 2023 so there has been a lot of water under the bridge....
Yeah, I saw about the new music. Very exciting! It'll have a tough job to live up to the expectations, especially after such a long wait as you say, but hopefully Courtney's been sitting on some gold.
Ah, I knew there had to be something fishy about the FM Frequency stuff. It all seemed too strange. But canceled because of lockdowns makes a lot of sense. Still seems unbelievable that would be her first big, scheduled, advertised gig though, right? Maybe I've got a skewed view of things being entrenched in the talent show world, but I'd imagine she'd be able to get a much larger festival crowd if she so chose.

@@FreakinFamous I think her first, big, scheduled, advertised gig (post AGT) was to be Woodstock 2, but that was also canceled due to Covid. It has been a long time and many things went against her over the past few years. Remember, also, that she is just 18 and likely High School played a roll in it as well. Oh, I believe I saw her current net worth at $3M, so I think she's gotten some return on Simon Cowell's contract. Now that she is independent we can, hopefully, expect new music soon --- she's been teasing a single for the last 3 or 4 months, I'm afraid all but her hard core fans have drifted away having given up on seeing her releasing a lot of new stuff (especially well engineered stuff rather than backroom recording sessions). Her social media needs cleaning up to provide details on what's been and going to happen. She has said the new single will be out this month,, but hasn't said exactly when or where. I'd really like to see her go big...
We havenât heard a talent like Courtney come into music in decades, if ever. She can sing anything from Rock to R&B, Funk, Soul and ballads with no loss to the incredible quality of her music. A true generational level talent. She hasnât released any music since 2019 because she was completely shut down by Covid and her release dates have been repeatedly delayed. However, she does now have a release date for her first original single. Itâs an amazing song called âBreakableâ and should drop in the next few weeks with more to follow.
Other people have alerted me to this new music excitement, yes! It'll have a tough job to live up to the expectations, especially after such a long wait as you say, but hopefully Courtney's been sitting on some gold. Thanks for commenting! - Daniel
Hello Daniel, a few corrections:
1.) Courtney was born 6 July 2004. Thus, she's 18.
2.) You mentioned she performed in Austria 2-years in a row. The first year 2021, the festival was canceled due to the Covid pandemic. In 2022 her name disappeared from the concert artist list a couple months before the festival, but not sure what happened. Consequently, she did not perform either of the 2-years.
3.) With respect to music she's released, you mentioned the 4-songs from her "Cover Sessions" EP, but not her rendition of John Lennon's "Happy Xmas"
4.) You indicated you thought Courtney was still signed with Syco/Simon. However, if you check the Syco Music wikipedia entry you'll note that in July 2020, Sony acquired 100% of Syco Music which it previously co-owned with Simon Cowell. In exchange for Syco Music, Simon Cowell was given 100% of Syco Entertainment, which included all of the talent shows (ie, AGT, XFactor, etc.). You'll also note in that by September 2020, Sony completely shut down Syco (it ceased to exist) and absorbed some of Syco's singers into Sony Music. Don't know what happened to Courtney at that time, but she IS NOT with Simon Cowell / Syco.
Additionally, as youâll note on the Howie Mandel podcast she did December 2021, she mentions she had a ânew teamâ (at 14 minutes)
Lastly, in her January 1st Facebook post last month she mentioned that she is now an independent artist.
5.) Net worth is almost always is like throwing darts while blindfolded.
6.) You mentioned that Courtney ârefusesâ to release music. However, she explained last month that sheâd release music in February.
In order to correct these mistakes, would you please re-do a video about her next month after sheâs released her 1st single? Also, as a favor to Courtney, would you please ask Talent Recap to post on their Twitter or Instagram about Courtneyâs Friday 24 February song-drop and also provide everyone with the link to be able to pre-save Courtneyâs song?

@@FreakinFamous I was perhaps a bit harsh in the comment. Sorry for that. There are just so many people who write a lot of incorrect information about her. I think she has received enough hate and crap over the years. And all she wants is to make music, which she's damn good at. Hope you, like me, are looking forward to her single she will release in the coming days.

Is there a legal battle behind the scene and a Simon's strike back to Courtney's "Declaration of Independence"?
Two things I also learn about "releasing new music" from Freakin' Famous, first, he said "Courtney flatly refuses to release any music", second, "we should apply a little pressure to Simon Cowell to give us a three songs EP."
And this quote is from Courtney's Declaration of Independence "I want to release all of this music I have got HIDDEN away."
Legal battles? That sounds juicy. I'm learning from other people that I got the contract stuff wrong, which is fair enough, though I can't believe I missed that Facebook post. I went on her Facebook and everything! Damn, you win some you lose some. And lucky for us there's always people who're willing to correct my mistakes. Thank you for stepping up!
I shan't apologise for wanting the new music though! I'll get as facetious as I want! Hopefully we'll get some really soon and it'll blow our minds!

Being that you have 1Mil plus subs, I feel I should let anyone watching this video that your sources are either lacking in credibility or you're just not doing your own due diligence. I'm not going into details of all you got wrong, but I'll just mention Courtney was signed by Simon right after her stint on AGT in December or 2018, but 2 years later Sony and Simon's company restructure their deal and Sony took on all Simon's signed artists. Afterwards the public never got any details on what happened to all those artists that Simon signed previously which Sony took over. But just this year of 2023 Courtney announced she is now independent. She also hinted that her so called circle of friends in the music business did not fulfill her wishes. Hence, the reason to becoming an independent artist. She also said she will be releasing music soon. One new original she said this month February of 2023.
You really need to follow her if you are going to release this type of information. It's pretty obvious you don't. IF you really get that many subs checking your channel then you should at least do some creditable research or at least check in with an artists fans, who always know what's going on.

It's interesting that she's independent now. I suspected something wasn't right because of the lack of output even all these years after her AGT appearances, but it's a big shame that it was clearly such a negative experience for her. Fingers crossed that now she's on her own we can see some original music sooner rather than later!

That's worrisome. She really needs a team to help her polish her image. She can do social media pretty good, but it would be nice to have someone clean up her Wikipedia page, Twitter/Facebook/CZcams Abouts, Spotify (and...?) digital media setup and so on. We know she can sing like few others, but a mgmt team can help raise her presence in the world.
