This trip was Damon and Jamie's first time visiting Australia.
Initially we were slightly nervous about them travelling, as they have never stayed anywhere else other than our home in Hong Kong.
However they settled into Grandma and Grandpa's home extremely well. Got so excited when we first arrived and quickly made themselves 'feel right at home' !!!
Sarah's family has lived in this house for nearly 20 years, lets take a quick tour inside.

I like wall ovens but I like them at height so that I don't need to bend to remove a heavy dish. It makes life easier and it is on my list of jobs to be done one day! The house is amazing. Have an epic week!

No offence but I still don’t quite understand why their videos need to be separated to English / Cantonese.. can’t just add in an English/ Chinese subtitles to one of them?

Cantonese is probably for their family and friends who would love to keep posted on there out and about. English is for the broad audience on the internet. Just my guess.

Where in Australia?
Often outdated furniture and electrical appliances like Sarah’s sturdy wooden desk and her mum’s oven are well designed and top workmanship that you cannot find anymore. Nowadays, everything is fabricated and made to look nice but on the cheap side. Manufacturers hope consumers will replace with new ones all the time and not to last a lifetime.

Yea a lot of immigrants live wayyy more Chinese, it’s like back to the 70s
very old fashioned house … 😂 Jason’s English is perfect but Sarah’s English is not very native, not Aussie nor British accent, very Kongish to be honest, I think you better speak Cantonese, it makes our ears more comfortable 😂

@@joycewan--self-help593 these ppl sound so mean and their comments are Hk style then. I do think Sarah's English is good. If this is kongish, I dont know what to call the hkie hkie. Not all ABC in Aus picked up strong Aussie accents. Plus I actually know a few who tried to get rid of Aussie accents, they don't like it.
