Scraps or Treasure? How to make beautiful veneer from bark!

We woodturners are always left with some odd pieces of wood when we process a log. In this video, I take an interesting "cheeky" log end and turn it into a rustic chic cake stand. We make some beautiful veneer from the bark to wrap a inexpensive pine blank to look like a large Birch cookie. (veneer creation starts at 12:50)
