I LOVE this house. It's not just a show house but a home with character. In this home, more is most definitely more. Nothing minimalist and grey. Hurray!!! At last a home where colour rules.
Exactly! Nice to see a REAL HOME. Not the tiresome white, grey, silver, black souless nonsense that is just a showhouse.
The amount of character in this house has to be appreciated and respected. All the cool wallpaper and wacky bits and bobs are all well and good but even just details like the family photos on the walls and tables throughout the house and all the colours really make this house a home which I feel is somewhat rare to see nowadays in a property that is worth many millions...everyone wants high gloss, shiny and squeaky bright with no character. Was refreshing watching this one :)
Tom and Jas, this tour was exceptional. It’s always exciting to see what you’ll showcase next, and the houses, as well as tour quality, continually improve. You two truly love your craft, and it shows through in these videos. Contrary to an earlier comment, you should continue taking off your shoes. Good for you for showing such respect for the homes and their owners!
I love this house! You can tell the owners are super fun. So much personality and character in the interior design. Every room has a different vibe. Imagine growing up in this house… incredible!

Just an advice, it would be nice not only listing the interior size of the property at the beginning of the video, but also the size of the whole plot (land). For those type of rural detached property, the size of the whole plot can often be more important than the actual interior space.
I absolutely agree with you and I would want to have plenty of conservatory space to grow food too.
Good grief you guys are good. I haven't seen this channel since you first came aboard and you were just finding your feet in front of camera. However, the presentation now is fluid, warm and natural and you really bring out the subject matter. Well done!!
I looked at the images of this property when it first came on the market at the end of June and the interior of the property looked quite dark, and I have to say I wasn't that enamoured by it at all and I quickly dismissed it but a week or so later the estate agent added a video for the property and I thought that showed the property off much better than the images alone, and now your video tour has taken it up another notch completely, and from originally disliking this house I've changed my opinion completely - the rooms are so big and spacious and although the interior design isn't something I would choose, it works really well and it adds a lot of charachter and charm to the property. Rarely do you find a house with this much space and big spacious rooms, with an indoor pool at this price point in the middle of Surrey. I think it's spectacular house now and if I was fortunate enough to have that sort of money sitting in my bank account, this property would be a very serious contender on my dream home list. Well done as always guys, this video tour is exceptional and you've excelled yet again - I love your channel.

Of all the houses that I've seen on this channel this is by far my favourite. It is glamorous and smart but you wouldn't be afraid to live in it & use it. Some of the other homes are so flash that I'd be scared to use the furniture! This is spot on, I'd love to know what part of Surrey it is.

My favourite house that you have ever shown!
Absolutely marvelous in terms of large and wide, open both outdoor and indoor living, social and recreational venues, the layout of these venues, and the aesthetics of the design and color palates, which are varied, eclectic, and amazingly well-blended. The owner's suite is very nice, the other rooms are a bit cramped with awkward roofs, but that doesn't really matter. The bathrooms aren't spectacular, but quite nice. The Knoll and this, I believe, have the best layouts and palates. This also is an amazing bargain, considering all of this is just half-hour from London. But, I still like the 2.5-acres of the riverfront shambles in Henley-on-Thames because I'm a sucker for outdoor spaces, walking access to the high street, close proximity to London and the possibilities that the river front and 2.5 acres of land provide. That, though, is quite overpriced at $5 million, when it has a very unspectacular structure that also doesn't offer much in terms of its layout for wide, open living, social and recreational venues and that has very ordinary decorative palate. I would still buy that for around $3 million and spend a few millions on it to do it up like this house.

I love the exteriors of the house--the architecture and the grounds, but the interior is a bit disorienting. It's a Frankenstein of interior design in my opinion, it looks like 20 interior designers were hired to furnish each room and tried to one-up each other. But I must say, Tom and Jas are my favorite presenters on this channel.
I agree, the house itself is beautiful, but it's almost as if the owner has gone for maximalism but hasn't hit the mark. There's too many clashing styles, I wish I had the opportunity to reorganize the furnishings (I'm qualified in design), it's like they've tried too hard and gone with everything and anything which is in style currently.
Exactly, @@Glesga_lassie. Maximalism, even with the most high-end furnishings, if not done well ends up looking tacky.
I’m surprised by how low the ceilings are. I was expecting Tom to crack his head at any moment going through those doorways. Here in the USA they will have Designer Showcase homes open for several weeks to raise money for a charity. Each room is by a different designer and that’s exactly what this looks like. Cheers to Tom and Jas for the great job they do as hosts. 🥂🍾

Would be interesting to learn about the heating system, underfloor heating etc., technical details. Also more indept details about materials, marble, wood etc. but also the types used. Faucets, wash basins etc. etc.

Great home guys, loved the pool area. PLEASE PLEASE can you do more on the garage areas when you film a property? I love garages and cars, I love looking at how people decorate their homes but I also love to see how they set out their cars/bikes/tools/ car equipment. We rarely get to see that aspect, but when we do it is too quick. You can always blank out their number plates for privacy. A great garage area is a major buying point to me, I can’t be the only one, can I?

I was expecting a sterile box when I saw the front exterior but this is a great house! It's currently funky but take away the owners possessions and it could be very traditionally furnished or go minimal.
It does need a bit more soft landscaping out the front...
If i had the money i would buy this house. I loved everything about this house literally everything.
