Yep I found this on my tuono too. Cable was $100 so like you I bought one off ebay £6 and crimped it. Works perfect

My 2008 RSV factory twin has the same plug under the seat, which can be connected to OBD2.

it was an aluminium gorilla glass metal case cover full-body purchased from Amazon, sadly Amazon do not sell them anymore but there are similar type on sale
Not hidden on the newer RF. It's right under the dash on the left with a cap over the port.

Good question, to be honest I do not know, but it would be an expensive upgrade because OEM Aprilia TFT Dashboard - 2D000278 is listed $708.68. I sure there will be other items you would need too,

Hi again The Earlster, I want to ask, if I will buy one of USB support kit's only without additional Bluetooth ECU, will my phone read info from the bike with v4mp app and USB cable only? My dealer can't answer to that question.

Hey Mantas80513, unfortunately not, as far as I'm aware the USB kit is for power to your smart phone device only, Therefore, this does not interface to the ECU for V4MP.

Hi Mantas805, I made my USB up. However, my mate bought the alterative USB KIT (plug and play) details on description for his Tuono v4r and it function fine, we both used sugru mouldable glue to hold down the USB in place. My local Aprilia does not stock the original Aprilia USB cable. Regarding the V4-MP app, I got my dealership to ordered and installed Aprilia Multimedia Platform
Bluetooth ECU (no installation charge), the part number is 2S000088 and depending on your bike you also need a dedicated install kit which is sold separately, RSV4RR/RF requires plus installation kit 2S000580 and the Tuono 1100 requires installation kit 2S000656.

Cool 👍, the phone on this video I made it from a spare water resistant shockproof aluminum gorilla iPhone 5c glass case bolted and glued onto a RAM Mounts UNPKD RAM 2 X 1.7 - The stem is also from an adjustable RAM Motorcycle Fork Stem Mount - I also use a ram mount x grip for other phones, the RAM Mounts UNPKD RAM 2 X 1.7 is useful for the GoPro for those tracks days

No it's optional extra on our bikes, I believe it's now included on 2017 models

It comes as standard on the 2017.
as standard where?? in that clump of wires??
The USB cable, Housing and USB port are now fitted as standard on the left side of the dash on the 2017 model.
@Phillup DaVoid - I'm referring to the 2017 RSV4 RF model, not sure what bike you have, if you do not see it, prehaps it's not fitted and the USB cable is hidden away,
@Phillup DaVoid looks like the 2017 model RR is hidden beneath the windscreen, not sure why Aprilia did not include it.
My 2016 RF has a port..........
+Paul Britton, thanks mate, I bought my RF in early 2016 but mine was released 2015 so I think Aprilia must of made it option extra or missed it out - lol
