the most amazing thing about NCIS: LA is these six actors/actresses have been together for (pretty much) nine of the 10 seasons. I love #Neric, but we can't have one without the other.

maybe they are using this to bring on more "diversity" and at least one of the new IT persons will be female and a minority, and who know maybe even gay

I wouldn't be suprised if this an indicator of NCIS LA finishing. In this same episode Sam was offered another job by his friend. While he did not say yes he said he may just take him up on that offer but not just yet. Also with Kensi and Deeks married now, it would be likely they would want to settle down and do something less dangerous like they have hinted at several times over the past season or two.
I was thinking the same thing. I don't think it'll end this year. Shows that have been going for 10 years usually give a little more notice unless they're just cancelled. But I wouldn't be surprised if next year is it. 11 years is a long series and everything about the last episode just felt like the beginning of the end.

Remember that 3 people left during ncis season ten. I wouldn't be surprised to see the meerkats and a slightly less main character leave as well.
I love the chemistry between Nell & Eric. They are a great teem and a great couple.
If Nell & Eric leave NCIS Los Angeles due to the illness of Nell's Mom the show would not be the same without Nell & Eric.
Unless the network decide to come up with a New Spin Off (NCIS San Francisco) with Eric & Nell and other new cast members .
(for example :
Bring back Michael Weatherly).
Note : I do not like the New Assistant Director and her Secretary. They just do not fit in for the NCIS Series or any of its spin offs.
Also Nate is too nerdy for the show.
To me , (Necar Zadegan) or
(Diane Neal) will make a great (Assistant Director) or (Director) of "NCIS" or "NCIS Los Angeles" or "NCIS New Orleans" or a New Series "NCIS San Francisco" would be great.
or Eric will find out that the company he works for is a really bad spy/terrorist. and blows the whistle , they then have the mother get better and they return next season

I really wanted to see Eric as a badass or something like that. I wanted to see him in an entire episode where he is depressed, but still does his job in a professional way and be serious and not try to be funny and want to make the rest of the team wondering about his new behaviour.
Maybe they leave for a while atill Nell mom survivor from cancer n Nell families it's okay they might be back..

I can tell you from experience that the only thing worse than a show ending before its time is a show that overstays it welcome. This show has had a good run, but plot developments are moving the show closer to its end than its beginning. Deeks and Kensi getting married only makes sense if at least one of them is willing to walk away from field work. Eric and Nell are making married people type decisions and the fact they each has a compelling reason to move to San Francisco suggests the wrapping up of a storyline rather than the evolution of one. I would rather the show runners put energy into sending this series out on a high note than try to milk additional seasons out of this core group of characters.

WOW I can see liking characters in a show but not watching because some one is leaving is a little lame, they are make believe not real and will be replaced with others that will steal your hearts if that's what you need in your life
Seriously, can Nell and Eric take a break until the final episode and come back to say the day! They have great on screen chemistry and are so IMPORTANT to this team..... not excluding LL COOL J... hahaha just say'n :)
No eric and nell can't leave the show if they do leave the show will go to scrap. And I will no longer watch the show. I think they are the show and with out them show would be over. I love those two.

I liked Eric more than Nell but, I think 🤔 he wanted to do plays and she wanted time off because she was getting tired 😓 of getting up to go to work. I bet they regret it now with the corona 👑 virus . They should have taken time out and come back later . I still watch the show because of Kensi & Deeks , Sam, G , I liked Hetty best as their leader because the ones they gotten really suck . And the other replacements for Eric & Nell’s suck and don’t like them especially Nia Long they just put her there as their next boss to take Hetty’s place and it’s confusing and not good just like Chicago P. D when they killed off Al to make the story more exciting and it wasn’t because I loved ❤️ to him & Voight together fighting crime .I don’t like to see Chicago, P.D because of that and they take out Jon Seda ( Antonio) too and put new people that’s it’s hard for the fans to accept them because we already had our favorite ones ☝️ . I didn’t care for Voight’s daughter either she either played a drug junkie & a slutt and the other girl too she slept with all the cast who worked there too .
well, I guess that would clear the way for some fresh new characters to come on the show......and sooner or later deeks is gonna have to go back and play precinct cop at least for a while if he wants to ever get a promotion or raise.
