“They must have a cleaning service” (HA! I wish…)
We’ve seen and heard and read all of the comments, and yes, most of them are accurate! Sometimes, our house is a mess, but it sure is the kind of mess we’re grateful for! We love spending time together as a family, even if that means taking some time to pick up after ourselves to keep the house tidy and organized.
Scripture tells us, “Let all things be done decently and in order.” 1 Corinthians 14:40 - Our home shouldn’t be any different. This is the place where we spend the most time together. It’s where we welcome our family and friends to enjoy fellowship and life together; it’s where we pray together, read the Bible together, and learn and grow together!
Home is also where we laugh together, cry together, encourage each other, and in this case, clean together! We hope inviting you into our home to clean will encourage you to realize that nobody is perfect, that everyone has a mess to clean up, and it’s a blessing when others pitch in a hand to help!
We love you all and are so thankful for your encouragement and support and for being a part of our lives!

Chad is a treasure just realizing how exhausting it can be to care for kids during the day…most dads just come home ready to eat and sit not realizing how tired their wives can be as well. Team work does make the dream work especially in families. It is a truly Christ centered family when the father is an upright example to lead the household💞

Hello everyone in the comments. Hope you are all doing well. I saw a couple comments about Chad doing all the work and Erin basically doing nothing. I just wanted to defend Chad and Erin and say they are a God fearing and loving couple who loves their family and each other very much. Chad said in the video they tag team and that while he is gone at work and Erin is home with the kids, he wants to help out and give her a break. She does so much taking care of 5 kiddos plus homeschooling. She is pregnant and she has had some health issues with her pregnancies. I'm sure he wants to help take some of the load off of her so the baby and her are safe. Erin and Chad are wonderful parents. They also take care of each other and are so good to one another. I know it's easy to judge a situation without knowing the full story. I know Chad and Erin inspire me. Such a beautiful family. God bless the Paines and everyone here.

I dont know any husband that would wotk all day cone home and do that much work every evrnning. I know many that will some but he did alot!
If the wife’s love language is acts of service then the husband will do as much as he can as that will make his wife feel most loved. Not learning your spouse’s love language leads to misery. It’s also important for the children to see the father participating in the household chores inside as well as outside.
My husband is very very hands on like Chad too and helps me so much! So grateful for good men still in this world!
Well I know a few husbands that work all day and come home to do that “much” because they choose to. It may seem “much” to us onlookers but who is keeping scores. Especially for a pregnant mama. It is truly a blessing. Teamwork 😊
My husband does the same thing for us, and as his wife I really appreciate him. I also hope my daughters one day in the future find a husband that would do the same thing; respectfully for them. That’s key when working on a partnership with your spouse. You hope to set the example for your kids.
My husband has always done the exact same routine Chad is doing. From the "get go" he did laundry b/c he's always found it relaxing (his words, not mine)!! I enjoy ironing, so that was my thing. I've called him my Coupon King from the earliest days of our marriage, since he really enjoys grocery shopping and finding the best deals!!! When our children were young, we'd shop with two carts so all three could ride and set selected items in the buggy. Can't stop smiling just thinking of their excitement!☺
To this day, he still loves to cook or bake and the man can whip a kitchen into shape quicker than anybody else I know!! More often than not, all five of us were in the kitchen together enjoying each other and the meal preparations.
No question, he has skills - now I'm talking about repairing cars, designing and renovating old homes, as well as handling many projects when we built our last home!💖
Yes, he is an amazing individual, who learned how to do/work and enjoy every minute throughout his childhood. He continues to love all of us well, right down to all the grandchildren we're blessed to call ours.
I am ever so grateful to call him my Husband of forty nine years and
counting! 💞God has been so faithful in every season - we count ourselves blessed.

A friend of mine always says, "put your house to bed" which translate to just what you all did in this video. To wake up to a fresh, clean space, starts the day out right. I saw this saying and I believe it is so true: "I am grateful for: Early wakeups=children to love; House to clean=safe place to live; Laundry=clothes to wear; Dirty dishes=food to eat; Crumbs under the table=Family meals; Shopping to do=Money to use; Toilets to clean=Indoor plumbing; Lots of noise=kids having fun; Endless questions=kids learning; Getting into bed sore and tired=I'm still alive. We have 2 sons and each of them have families of their own. They too pitch in with dishes, vacuuming, dusting, laundry, etc. All of which makes this mama proud! Thank you for sharing you family!

This is such a godly example (keyword) GODLY of how a Christian couple should do.. a lot of men think the woman should do it all day and after he gets home bc “ he’s” worked all day but the woman is the homemaker she sets the tone and makes the house a home.. if she’s doing her part and keep the house up all day and kids esp. like Erin she is their teacher and their educator she puts in 110% so if the female is doing that the man should be just like chad even tho he’s worked & yes he’s the provider.. but he can get in there and help too.. the work doesn’t stop after your job.. the greatest job of all and blessing is to teach your kids and raise them like this couple does .. I LOVE ERIN AND CHAD!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉

This is an awesome video. I have had two back surgeries in the last 3 months and one more to go, so I have had to teach my husband how to take care of our home since I have done our entire house for the last 40 years. He did help with dishes and often offered to order out to make my life easier. I worked for 25 plus years and now run my own small tutoring business. Working full time, raising two boys, and taking care of a home is exhausting. So glad to see a husband pitching in when his work day is done. A mom’s is not until she collapses into bed.

I know i shouldnt be but I'm so envious that your husband helps clean. Ive been married 11 years and we just had our 4th baby and i still do all the cleaning( he probably does dishes twice a year and only if i 'tell' him to). Lets just say, my house is a mess constantly. I do my best but i can only do so much on my own. I cook all the meals at home and homeschool as well

I used to think ugh laundry. I didn’t enjoy it at all! Two years ago I was diagnosed with leukemia. My goal was to do the laundry! I can say I’ve not missed doing laundry, not even one time! It takes me a tad longer but I get it done! Laundry blessings!! 🥰 Y’all are great!!
I pray my daughters find a man as good and kind as Chad. He treats Erin with such love and she him in return. He is a wonderful father and husband! What a wonderful example of service to each other.
It’s so good too see a husband and wife working together in the home. Being the example you want your children to see and be.. Because they watch everything you do. Those little eyes and ears work very well when they are little until they hit their teenage years and some how they start having a hard time hearing lol.. My husband and I always worked well together, we didn’t expect the other too do it all. Our children seen how we worked so well together. It really helped when we started getting them involved with household chores. They begged too vacuum and wash the dishes and taking out the trash all these things when they were little. Then they hit their teen years and they started having trouble hearing their dad and I. Lol then it was the dishes you all mess up every dish in the house lol now that they are grown they appreciate us teaching and setting the example of why our home needed cleaning on the daily.. My children has thanked their Dad and I for teaching them how too clean and your children will too... You guys are Amazing parents and raising some awesome children...
Oh how I long for the day when my children can look back and appreciate that we expected them to be part of the household chores. We're in the teen years and the appreciation seems to have gone out the window!
It helped our kids when we got a cordless vacuum they could manage. Having the proper tools helps make the work go faster!
Your family unit is so incredible. As I watch your family and how both of you including your children help clean up in the evening it makes my heart so happy and yet sad at the same time for my daughter. She and her husband both work full-time jobs out of the home as well as have 3 children. Unfortunately, my daughter has to work full time and also be responsible for ALL the house cleaning as well as All the responsibility to watch and take care of the two younger children. In my opinion, this is so unfair as her husband has lots of free time to do as he pleases and my daughter is constantly taking care of everyone in her home and work. I feel the household work and taking care of the children should be a shared responsibility as it is shown in your family. It is so obvious that you are both loving selfless and giving to your family and your marriage. Please pray for my daughter and her family if you would. Its very close to my heart and I believe God is the only one who can change hearts and attitudes. If its God will I pray her husbands eyes will be opened to see what's going on sooner than later.

This was something we did growing up we are big family ourselves I have 8sister 9 with me and 4 bothers .I love to see that you both are in team work .I love that you all serve God.i myself serve Jesus too and I would not change it .I raise 3 of my own.and now helping out with my grandkids. Great cleaning routine! It’s so nice getting up to a clean house isn’t it? Our 3 kids are grown with kids of their own now but when they were young, we cleaned at night too. My hubby is a lot like Chad. He loves doing laundry while the college football games are on and he also likes cleaning the kitchen. I would rather clean bathrooms, the living room and the bedrooms. I also get my hubby’s clothes ready for work for the next day and fix his coffee maker so, all he has to do is turn it on when he gets up in the mornings. We clean our house once a week. We do make sure everything is picked up every night but windows and floors get done once a week. Y’all are a super couple.

I am not in your season of life but I do enjoy the videos a lot. I would appreciate it if everyone reading this comment would pray for me and my son every day they can think to do so. I was widowed in May. My husband was terminally ill so we knew it was coming. He died at home in hospice. We left nothing unsaid between us and I view Covid-19 as a God sent blessing as he got to work from home for the last 3 years of his life which was wonderful. We did things when he was able to do so and talked about things. No regrets there. Nevertheless my (adult) son who lives with me and I are faced with issues and could use a lot of prayer now. Hubby and I were married for 38 years. He was almost 15 years my senior (first marriage for both of us). We knew it was coming but when it finally hit it was still somewhat of a shocking blow and you never get over grief. You just move though it.
My deepest condolences to you and your son. Praying for both of you as you walk the road of grief for your husband. Trusting our Lord to turn the very difficult moments to blessing for each of you over and over again. Many hugs.
