  • 3.5 inch rough country suspension lift 20 inch snowflake wheels factory offset 35x12.50 hercules tg max tires all terrain no rubbing after install south Georgia wholesale customs great ride new step bars. After the video was up for some time, I had folks asking about gas mileage as well as why the rear blocks weren't installed. I added a tune from diablo tuner 2 for performance 87 octane that improved my gas mileage to around 16 mpg average. The blocks were not installed because I wanted a level look. The truck is not squatted at all after the front settled after installation. I did have slight rubbing after the settle but was able to get the guy's at wholesale customs to make the necessary modifications.

    I’m glad I found this. I put the 3.5 “ lift on my truck and it has more of a rake than the factory did. I’m taking the rear blocks back out . 👍

    I really like my Rough Country 3.5 Suspension Lift I recently had installed on my 2022 Silverado Custom 4X4, I made sure that they installed the blocks in the rear which they should have done on your install. I like your year of truck it looks really sharp.

    Thanks for the video I recently purchased a 2016 gmc Sierra and it came with 2” leveling and 35x12.50r20 but was rubbing a bit so since I didn’t want to do a lift yet so I got smaller tires for now but I do want to get a 3.5” but I hesitate due to messing up the smith ride.

    so when i was looking at this kit for the 2018 Silverado its says that you have to cut the bump stops off the frame for the upper control arms. the fact that you are running fine with them still intact is making me reconsider this kit with the vertex struts and shocks

    I like your video and you've got yourself one nice looking truck right there, but honestly speaking you need to lift the pants of your truck up bit by at least 2 -3 in., so that it doesn't look like you're hauling a fifth wheel. Just my thoughts from some guy out on the internet, so go with what you like and thanks again for the honest review.

    • @chrissmith397

      No it would not go back on. Rough country adds a skid plate in the kit. It's not as big as factory skid plate but it protects the important stuff.

      @SuperDave-pe1zw Před 3 lety

      @@chrissmith397 the block would make it level. Factory block is like 1 1/4 inches and you put on a 3 1/2 lift. The new block is designed to make it level. I put a 3in on mine it's about a 1/4 lower in front but looks way better than low like yours. Measure the rocker not the fenders.

      Guapo hernandez they rubbed from the start. The guys that installed them removed some of the plastic wheel well liner. I didn’t know and wasn’t told. Should have guessed that’s what was done.

    • @michaelroach799

      I believe the reason they didn’t put the rear block in is because after the lift in the front it was leveled out and if you put the 3” block in the back it would have rake
