- LONGEST TRACTOR - 36" in the House! WUT?! THE COMPETITION IS EVOLVING! Mikal and Brad are the new drivers that have been selected as the Next Contestants on LOADING WARS. Rather today.. UNLOADING WARS! hah! They have two BEAUTIFUL Semi Trucks .. both Flat Black, and both of them TRUE MONSTERS! Both of them are on the same Battery and Motor setup. Mikal's Tractor being 36" in length.. it may be a hinderance to him.. but we will see. A True Test of Driver & Machine.. as the course is very difficult. This is a true "Run what you bring" competition.. No Complaining. I would like to add.. these guys have Never DONE THIS BEFORE!
The GOAL OF TODAYS COMPETITION - Take your LOADED SEMI TRUCK & TRAILER - and Park in the Dock. Then, Unload your Trailer with a Carson Linde Forklift. Leave ALL of the Cargo in the designated area, and Park the Forklift. First one to complete.. is WINNER!
Penalties:
Do Not Enter the GREEN Area with your Truck or Trailer
Do Not Cross a Solid Black line with any of your Vehicle or Trailer
Do Not Lose ANY of your Load
Do Not Enter the Green Area with Any Wheels from the Forklift

AWESOME!! Here's an idea... Tag Team Forklift Wars: First team member of each team unloads truck and when finished, parks Forklift in small box. The 2'nd team member takes over and begins the "Loading of the flatbed" and finishes in the traditional way. What do you think?

I drive for a living let me tell you back a trailer is the most satisfying thing almost as much as doing it in this scale!
Great race guys! I was thinking of loading wars today at work while they were using the forklift to maneuver through some tight spaces in the shop to load stuff on the truck, & thought of; what about adding an obstetrical course to the mix? (driver's got to get to & pull into the dock, unload from one truck, go "through the warehouse" to another loading dock n on to another truck, then deliver that load) Keep 'em coming Aaron, really enjoying these. :-)

The tri drive is longer than the trailer. Bet it would look really good with that jeep and lowboy trailer hooked to it. The other truck looks good too. Huge props to the both of them for jumping in without a trial fork lift run.
Mikals triple drive truck is only 3 inchs shorter than my truck with a trailer lol. Takes some good skills to maneuver that beast.
It all starts with a bunch of guys having a lot of fun in a workshop, it might end up in a new trend and line of competition. Hopefully more RC companies will come out with hobby grade loaders
Some better forklifts would be nice to find in 1/14 scale or even a zoom boom lol

Love the Gran Haulers. They look so much like Peterbults. How come no diff on the fork lifts still. Hmmm. Wonder if there is a small 1/18 scale independent axle diff like this you can use ECX Ecx21200 not sure how those forklifts are put together but even if its belt drive there is a diff for it. Something like that would drive me bananas until i figured it out. That is how I made a lexan vacuuformed interior for my Trx4 Bronco. And I mean full interior.
