I needed to hear this.
I tried asking my mom why doesn't she do more as a believer of God, to give a picture of her life all she does is work and then spend her days off watching brainless shorts on CZcams, sleep, or stay on the phone for hours every day with her family in Poland. Never wanting to do anything with the family she's created here in America. She truly disappoints me. But she claims she loves God and believes in him. If that were true, how come her life is not matching her beliefs? My mom believes that we are living in the end times. I said, " if you know these are the end times, you have more responsibility than the people who don't know, and that should mean you are preparing for the end by doing things that would help yourself, your family, and other people. " but she disagreed. She said she doesn't have to do anything because God will do it. She makes me furious.
