Yes, lebron has scored more points than Jordan, but you know what else lebron also has that Jordan doesn't? More time in the league. Lebron came into the league at 18. Jordan played 3 years at North Carolina before going pro and retired 3 times. If he had played those extra seasons his 30.1 ppg average would easily have been more than lebron's 27.1 ppg average.

People will only notice how great LeBron was once he retires and they realize that many big all-time records will belong to him (especially the most points, he's only 4000 points away and he's still dominant. He can easily surpass KAJ)... That's the result of extreme consistency.
