- Trail and Brady head down to southern Arizona for a late-season over-the-counter archery Coues deer hunt. They get more than they bargained for as Brady has a run-in with the border patrol and Trail comes across a coatimundi.

I like that Randy Newberg and now GoHunt showcase AZ for all the opportunity... It inspired me to put it high on my annual hunt list. Selfishly however, I worry that it will change the "hidden gem" that is AZ hunting. Hopefully the change is for the best. Great video of a real hunt, not culminating in a giant, seemingly unattainable trophy, but an experience. That's the story of my life! keep em coming!
Between map layers, Saxx boxers keeping your beef torpedo cozy! It's important to have a solid STONE GLACIER SOLO 3600 BACKPACK for a OTC archery Coues deer hunt in Arizona or when you hike the back country here in my home Eastern Washington State! Walmart roll the prices back on the tags purchased, hahaha? The illegal gave you the thumbs up Brady, not for eye connection but rather he too has a desire for STONE GLACIER SOLO 3600 BACKPACK to smuggle in comfort for further mule expeditions. That Kudamundi, would make a nice cap for those cold Utah winters. But as you said Trail, a nice cape in Utah. Tender buck for the freezer, Trail! Cheers goHUNT!
AZ OTC deer tag is a great opportunity for awesome deer hunting in December and January. I can't wait to go back!

On a NM/MX border hunt I had Guns going off at about 2am right outside camp. Those border hunts can definitely be dicey at times.
Trail and Brady you two make a great team. Brady I my would have been a little worried About the people that showed up at the water tanks too. Just watching you guys trying different hunts and willing to try something new. Great shot Trail.

Been hunting couse in AZ for 12 years. I’ve hunted many animals in many different states and nothing compares to hunting these “grey ghosts”. So fun , so frustrating and so rewarding.
any units you suggest near yuma for muleys?
I spoke with Trail on the phone in November ordering Prana pants. We talked about this hunt and he helped me plan the hunt I took in December. We had just as hard of a hunt but I ended up like Brady, enjoying the hunt without the kill. I used to have a ranch I hunted in Southern Arizona for the Coues. Got a few over the years. They are so very challenging with the bow. Got a Coati too kind of like that. Ambushed it out of a fruit tree that they were frequenting. It's a neat critter not too many people even know exists. Thanks for the video brings back good memories.

When you enjoy hunting, this was a good hunt. Plenty of deer and other wildlife to see and shoot with your camera. Real life hunt, you don’t harvest a trophy everyday or every hunt but you enjoy the whole experience!

I remember in high school hunting a ranch we had access to in south Texas, my uncle got into his blind one morning to find a guy sleeping on his way from Mexico. It was a similar experience, just a smile and a wave and he was on his way. The ranch lay only a mile or so from a major border patrol station.
