- Another day of cruising awesome back roads to Hot Rod Power Tour.
You just can't beat thousands of old cars running down the road, enjoying small towns, eating good food. Both venues where a blast to hang out at and talk to people about their cars.
However, the best part of the week happened today. I got to go for a ride in PROJECT X! The 57's Chevy's OF ALL 57 Chevy's. Huge thanks to @12VoltDave and @luckysgarageshow for making that happen! Bucket list stuff right there!

Looks like Dan and Dani are having a much easier time of it during the HR tour than the VGG crew. I guess Dan's shake down runs and repeated improvements have paid off. Good going Dan.

Driving the backroads. You get to see the real America. Something you don't get on the interstate. 😊
I drove from NW Washington state to Florida then Virginia then Las Vegas and home, 8909 miles and only about 700 miles on the interstates. The only way to see America!

Hello, first of all, to greet your wife, yes for sharing your great job with great care and always supporting you every day. could you friend; Thank you because my name is Ángel Moguel Viruet, I am 67 years old, at 18 my first project was to restore as much as possible my Chevy57 Mickey mause with poste, I did my best to look for original pieces, we cut them with super sharp knives, abandoned cars and I managed to complete it with the help of a cousin who was a welder. I painted it in prime black and started, wait a minute my 57 had 327/trans4speed/Holly 750-double pump gas/pistons 12.5.1 and solid lift 3/4 old ,stick, I don't miss your videos. I was not lucky enough, my car was stolen and it never showed up. I spent a lot of time working on it, I only have one or two photos. Thank you for your attention my brother. att. I am tired of looking at that big old hole in the headliner. Find some white duct tape somewhere and professionally repair it please. Having fun following your trip after watching you build the Nomad. You were definitely ridin' the struggle bus there for awhile. But I am sure it was worth it. What a ride. Cheers.

It's small town USA. Most small towns put the flags out for our Memorial Day weekend through the weekend of the 4th of July.
The Carolina area has such good back road areas, but watch out for the local speed limits. Try boiled peanuts with a little spice it's great!

Two things of note:
1) Project X is no longer Electric powered.
2) Dan seems to have built one of the most reliable cars from the CZcams crowd.
