      Thank you sir, the drill press is just a basic one from Aldi and the drill bit is a 6mm glass / tile cutter bit. A link to the drill bit is in the description 😀

    Great idea.
    I had an idea to hide the battery box. Take one apart, I'm guessing there is a coin cell battery or two, a switch and maybe a resistor. These components could all be repackaged in a smaller space, in the neck of the bottle, under the neck label. If you drilled the hole in the neck of the bottle, you could epoxy the switch into the hole, hot glue the rest into the neck and with a bit of imagination, find a way to locate the coin cell(s) next to the screw cap, so they could be changed when needed.

    How long do those little batteries last? I'm thinking of getting some just like them.

      Hello karen, I’ve done some tests on the ones I sell. The standard batteries that come with the lights I buy lasted around 72hrs constantly on. If you buy better replacement batteries, like the ones from Panasonic or Duracell they’ll last a lot longer than that. The model is CR2302 that fit mine. Hope this is of some help 😀

      @Hand-i-Craft  Před 4 lety +2

      🤪😳🤪😳 Apart from the odd drop of single malt whisky, other spirits not my thing David. I’ve got an agreement with my local pub that I supply them with free LED bottles for their dining tables in exchange for their empty spirit bottles. Win win on both sides 😀

    Erm yea the majority don't have Machinery

    • @Hand-i-Craft
      @Hand-i-Craft  Před 3 lety +1

      Kamikaze kleo Hello Kamikaze, the only ‘machinery’ I used in this was the drill press. You don’t have to use a drill press, you could use a hand held drill driver which can be bought for £10-15 but it does need to be a tile bit that can be bought for £2. You could use super glue instead of a glue gun. I’m sorry if you think my method is all machinery, but most households will have a hand held drill driver so it is still easily possible 🤷‍♂️
