People here complaining about the price. Idk if you’re all 1/6 collectors but there’s 1/12 figures that sell for $150-200+ and these figures look amazing. Highly articulated, cloth goods, wired capes, scarfs, sword with a sheath, different head sculpts, masks, and lots of hands light up eyes too.
The price is fair, and for them being limited 100 for the regular and 100 for deluxe figure for USA makes them worth abit more. The price could be lower abit but not by much. Everyone has to eat good. I already pre ordered the Deluxe. The figures look worth it to me.

There's also 1/12 figures far better than this that cost no where near as much; the Enveloped Yaomo line by Nottaa for example, they look better, have more soft goods and ALOT more accessories. I have absolutely no doubt that the Notaman bodies they use are far superior and far more durable than this thing.
It's overpriced, no matter how you try and justify it or spin it. Most 1/12 figures that are in the 150-200 range are aftermarket prices or come with ALOT of extra gear. You'd be hard pressed to find ANY other 1/12 figure selling at retail for the price they're asking for this bar Devil Toys (and being a previous buyer of devil toys stuff I can tell you they're also overpriced, the shit they release is sub-par)
@@synthrogue6856Nottaa is just as expensive now, if u miss out u have to pay 150-200 for ea figure. And you’re assuming Nottaa body is better but this body isn’t even out yet lol. ALL I have to say is if it’s to much for you that’s fine no one is forcing you to buy it. For me and many others, these figures come with a lot for a Heavy price but the value is there. Everyone has their own opinions, I see some of ur points but don’t agree with alot of it. Also this being a new line they need to make money to make new things for this new line. If they did more of their 1/6 into 1/12 that would be sweet
@redriverarmy2877 if you miss out on any figure you have to pay high. That's exactly my point, it's the same across the board with Damtoys, Mezco, Joytoy etc etc. They don't RETAIL that high, they're all between £70-90.
Nottaa aren't expensive at all, I've recently preordered both regular/bloody Azure Lions and both regular/bloody thrones.
The lion is like 9" tall, has air-cushion bicep technology to hide joints AND give full range of motion, it has glass movable eyes etc and still costs less than this.
Their Thunderbolt figure double pack comes with TWO entirely different versions of the figure, a light up base, an absolute ton of accessories and multiple variants of huge wings to attach to them and still costs less than this double pack which is 2 of the exact same figure.
I've experienced dark crown figures before and can, from experience, tell you the bodies they use are utter garbage. As a figure photographer I wouldn't dare push that brittle thing beyond simple poses vs what I can do with a nottaa in front of the lens.
Granted, this is a fraction of what I've paid for some 1/12 figures on the aftermarket so it's not 'too much' for me. It's more the principle that they absolutely inflating the price far beyond what a 1/12 figure of this quality and content justifies. Vtoys could pull off this basic 2 tone (mainly unpainted black) figure at the exact same level for £70 ($80-90) easily.
They're just driving up demand with tiny production numbers (there's clearly more than 100 in their production plan despite their claim of 'US Exclusive 100')...it's not even in production yet if if it's not coming out until December 2025😂, they could easily produce any amount to fulfil any amount of preorders at a much cheaper price.
Everyone should be against artificial demand in this hobby. It hurts us all. Even Mezco backed out of that plan when it bit them hard.

But yeah them saying it’s only 100 for usa kinda makes them more pricy but they could have thousands of them made in other places u could order from haha so yeah but I know there’s other greats figures I collect all of nottaa and Mezco from what I like from them. Theses figures look appealing to me because I just started a samurai, ronin, ninja collection and these dudes would be perfect in my collection as a dark evil, ghostly Clan that live in the dark smoky ghostly forest that was a war field where tons of warriors died. I’d love to get some shoots of them coming outta the ground going to fight so yeah I have plans for these already

this series is artificially inflated in value.
love the art 100% and the details.
but the materials and how they hold up, and the excessive over-pricing or lack of production making obtaining one overly expensive isn't worth it.

I have the red crimson, I love him, but I bought him second hand, and without box and diorama, but Indeed, posing him is a matter of good luck, and he falls apart just pointing at him sort'o speak.... the 1/12 series, wil be no doubt, price is going to be as much as a 1/6 other brand figure....

In light of how hard it is to get this series, I might just sell him.

@@gilbertginting9277 im guessing because the 1/6 are 600usd and a lot over, I know a coll in the uk, and he paid around the 1000£.... dont get me wrong, but its just a piece of plastic, that is insane.... so I think the 1/12 wil go for 300usd.... imho off-course, the snake eyes from hito kara kuri, is also around the 300-400usd, and trying to buy these figures in europe, is so expensive its ridiculous....

They'll be even more expensive on the secondary market.
The 1/6 dark crown stuff is lovely to look at but feels extremely cheap and flimsy. You can tell the bodies the use are extremely low end crap. Can't see a 1/12 holding up well or being all that durable for photography.
Way overpriced for what you get. Nottaa did this better with their Enveloped Yaomo line.
