I agree - she is a doll. I think she was more wholesome looking than the other girls who seemed to have big, big hair and teeth. She looks like the perfect girl next door.
I can see why Arkansas did so well in interview! She was simply herself and at ease compared to the rest of the women competing! I bet she is the only Miss USA delegate who mentioned Skoal and beer in a interview competition! LMAO!!!!!!
Janet Marie Flaherty is my aunt
Miss Kentucky must have been one of the most nervous contestants I've ever seen. Poor thing
Yes, and she bombed in the final question.
Kentucky...bad case of nerves. Don't know how she made it into the top five. Massachusetts was cute with her "Yankee" to "southern" accent. Utah was very personable even though she was not the best looking candidate. Her hair was a mess. Arkansas.... What can be said....she showed extreme class, poise and charmed everyone....exactly what Miss USA should be....the girl next door and Terri epitomized that. She was the most natural and she stood out...there was something about her that impressed ...totally free of affectation. She looked regal...like Lady Diana. Ohio was lovely but I feel she was over scored. She was ok but not spectacular. Maryland was ok but Bob Barker talked too much about her little brother and she didn't elaborate much. She came off lukewarm. Final analysis: Terri started to shine and won everyone over as a "country girl" who came from a small town with a dream in her heart. She was perfect!
Kentucky wasn't horrible. She was just too rehearsed.
Miss Kentucky reminds me of Summer Bartholomeu, Miss USA 1975, who constantly was making that disgusting gesture with her mouth.
Jealous
One word Miss Ohio? - WOW
