    Do you ever think about showing the apartments over there in Milwaukee Wisconsin for rent,?

      There is an issue with putting insides of houses on the internet - that's the reason you see very little inside shots! Best you look on apartments dot com

    Ever notice the areas with the best schools are almost always in affluent areas? I was born in Milwaukee; moved to Brown Deer when I was 7, then lived in Sherman Park area for a few years before moving to Florida. Basically the same; better schools are almost always in areas with affluent incomes. Never did think that was fair. Everyone should have access to a decent education, but that's not the way it goes. I would never move back to Milwaukee now, the crime is just too bad.

    For those that don't know, Mequon and Thiensville are quite wealthy areas. Yes, many people would like to live in these areas. But can you afford to?
    Mequon/Thiensville can't even be considered middle class. Too expensive.

      Mequon is pretty big. Plenty of middle class people live there. Just buy some old dilapidated house on the cheap, renovate it, and boom! You're part of the elite. Otherwise you can find some inexpensive condo or a house in a bad location, like next to a busy road. Those aren't that expensive.

    It's just a run of the mill American suburb. Safe, boring, secluded, has good schools. It's not bad, but there is nothing special or outstanding about this place. It's not Hamptons, Palm Beach, or Malibu by any stretch of imagination. Typical Midwestern mediocrity, though "affluent". Real affluence is in neighboring River Hills, actually.

      100%, this is the Midwest and not FL for sure! River Hills is very affluent, but with a population of only 1,500 and is because of its size not a significant real estate market for most people who are moving to Milwaukee. Also, property taxes exceed 50k in some cases. If you want to spend this kind of money, the question is would you rather live in Elm Grove?

    • @johndong7524
      @johndong7524 Před 5 měsíci +1

      @@MarcusMKE No, I wouldn't live in Elm Grove either. Mequon is a good option for people looking for good schools and who don't want to travel far to Milwaukee. Otherwise it's just overpriced because of the prestige status that goes with it. There are other quite similar suburbs where you can stretch your dollar a bit farther like Grafton, Cedarburg or Menomonee Falls.
