Might get a chance to come fish lanier for my first time this summer, any tips on finding the floating cane piles ive always heard rumors about? Been throughly enjoying the videos homie, keep em coming

appreciate it! for sure, message me again when it gets closer to your trip and ill help you out but most of it is just brush not cane piles. the brush will be on the bottom from 15ft out to 35ft and on points and humps. that is the target area to look in first. you can find the piles by using forward facing sonar or graphing around with sidescan and even just traditional 2d or downscan. once you find a bunch just hit as many as you can in a day. its a fantastic lake and super fun to fish in the summer of you can avoid the boat traffic!

Nice! He says “This lake is like an alien planet” 😂, I feel the exact same way. I’m awful on Lanier, I struggle to find fish.

Hello really enjoying your Lanier videos! Wanted to ask your opinion if someone wanted to focus on catching a magnum spot what creek would you recommend?

thank you! great question, honestly i would avoid the creeks if you want to go for a true magnum. stay on the main lake below the bridge or at least at the mouth of the creeks. that will give you the best chance at a monster spotted bass. they like being next to super deep water. if you are going to fish a creek, any of the creeks below the bridge hold big fish as well.
