Yes to this! Agree where what you want but I personally prefer more feminine leaning scents and with everything labeled unisex it can be difficult to know if I'd like it. Especially since I have to blind buy everything. No Sephora near me

I am so with you on Gris charnel, I absolutely adore it. In my top 5 this fall, along with BDK Rouge smoking, Kayali's vanilla 28, Tam Dao by Dyptique, Kilian's Princess, and Replica's jazzclub. Probably my best time of the year for perfumes. Plus instant crush, all the heavy hitters are coming out for sure🥰🥰🥰🥰

I usually use both Allures for late autumn and something with sweet ripe pear notes. And now still use my summer and spring scents: Ball d'Afrique, Gipsy Water, Plum Japanaise, Rose Musk, Ganimede, Baccarat Rouge.

I really want to get Celebes Wood from Mizensir, it's like autumn in a bottle. I'm looking forward to wearing my Cacao Porcelana from Atelier Materi and my Replica Whispers in the Library. I have a couple of sample vials of Gris Charnel, I may buy a travel of that as I am not sure I would want to wear it all the time to warrant a 100ml. It's a gorgeous scent but I don't know if it quite suits me 🖤

My goodness, I have quite a shopping list after this video. Gris Charnel has been on my list for awhile so it’s time to make that happen. I love cardamom. For an everyday scent I always bring out Chanel’s Sycamore when the leaves start to change. Thank you so much for all the wonderful recommendations.
I love Chanel Sycamore. It’s a forest in a bottle. Can’t wait for a colder weather to come to wear it. Where I live is still quite warm.

Gris Charnel is such a good easy reach fragrance on a rainy day.
I like tobbacolor and Oud Ispahan by Christian Dior, Oud for greatness by Initio and recently I sampled Red Tobacco by Mancera which I initially thought was way too strong but after about an hour I couldn’t stop smelling myself and really liked it. Another favorite is Amber royale by Ormande Jayne.
I feel the same way about Santal 33 and others in that fresh sandalwood genre. Nice on others, but too cloying on myself. Love Santal Basmati for cooler days, though :-)

My favorites are Chanel Le Lion- just bought a 200 ml used bottle, nearly full from 8/20. I suspect it is weaker now though I am not sure. Imperial Oppoponax by Les Néréides, uncelebrated house, is one of my most beloved and complimented fragrances. Behold Patchouli. I have been busting these out for the season.

Wonderful video! I think I saw in a previous video that you also have Lune Feline extrait. Curious which one you prefer wearing and on what occasions. Are they the same scent with the extrait just being stronger, or are there some scent differences?
I prefer the extrait these days because it's smokier and more intense on my skin but to be fair there isn't a massive difference between the two

I’m rather sad that Miller Harris doesn’t ship to all countries in Europe. I’ll try saving up and seeing if I can try some scents when I’m in the US in Winter.

Sandalwood and cardamom are two of my favorite ingredients in perfumery ♡.
I haven't tested Babycat yet, but was wondering... is it similar to Laboratorio Olfattivo Vanagloria? I love that scent and am considering adding it to my collection... They share some ingredients and were both created by Dominique Ropion.
Indeed, a similar direction, but you can expect a more "wearable" and classic refinement of YSL's version of Ropion :)
@@caizey I tested Babycat today and although I do appreciate it, I still find it a bit too sweet for my liking. I much prefer the androgynous vanilla-incense duality of Vanagloria and find it more interesting. Thanks for sharing your opinion ♡.

For some reason I think I’m the only one on the planet that has failed to get excited about Gris Charnel. I’ve sampled it a few times in the last year, but the hype eludes me.
May I suggest Josephine that you try Matiere Premier’s newest and spectacular release: Crystal Saffron.
All I can say is “WOW!”
And it will last on clothing for a week. It’s a saffron that does not turn into a leather accord. Spicy, fresh,clean.

Just as an FYI, I was trying to order a small bottle of “Ingredients” by Maison Crivelli from their website and my bank stopped the transaction multiple times. Evidently your personal data goes through a third party in Cypress which is illegal for US transactions. Weird, who knew? Guess I’ll have to wait to find it in the US.

Sorry 2 comments, needed to ask have you tried any Zoologist scents. Getting a bottle of Chipmunk ( 🐿 😄) smells so perfect for fall from the tester. Would love to hear your thoughts on the house. Also, is Babycat going to come to the USA??🥺

That would definitely feel like some Mugler fragrances !!! Like Aura, Alien or Womanity...
...but if you're into better quality, Serge Lutens makes some incredible scents that project you into another dimension.Just pick a storyline! There are so many references, but to give you an idea to how far he goes : La Vierge de fer and Dent de Lait both have METALLIC notes. IMO Louve, Gris Clair and Jeux de peaux all create a mysterious yet very wearable scent unlike anything you've probably experienced. :)

Lune Feline Is the most vile fragrance I’ve ever smelled. I’m not sure where you get a “cake” smell. This thing smells like pure gasoline. I put it up for sale right after receiving it and smelling it. I don’t know how people can suggest this fragrance
Agree! Smells so smoky that its no pleasant at all.
I also get the gasoline smell on my skin but weirdly, other people think it smells great on me. Go figure.
Perceptions are very personal, not all fragrances smell the same to all noses for different reasons, that’s why we always need to sample them, especially with niche fragrances cause the commercial ones usually use more broadly loved odorant molecules ☺️ similar to lune feline I totally prefer Ani by Nishane or other vanillas ( will cover the topic on my channel next month)

Do you have The clout to negotiate stock levels for your vendor partners? It’s really frustrating that your reviewed items are virtually always out of stock with the coupons you link. Those fragrances are masterpieces.
I have Baby Cat too which I bought after the first time you even mentioned it! It is divine! My skin chemistry isn’t always great with leather/smoky notes but on my skin Baby Cat loses its leather after 15 minutes and then I have a smoky vanilla that I literally can’t stop inhaling. I’m obsessed with it’s dry down on my skin.
Another perfume I loooove in the colder weather is Blanche Bete.
