    Many thanks. I lived there 21 years. Try waiting for the bus for work in -30 wind at 5:30 a.m......one eye stuck shut, ice on your chin...LOVED IT!!

    Edmonton weathers are extremely variable. There is usually only a handful of days that actually dip to -30C. Edmonton gets way less snow than the east coast, and the winters in Edmonton are milder than Winnipeg, Regina, Saskatoon, and Quebec City. Edmonton’s winters are only slightly cooler than Ottawa, Montreal, and Calgary. It’s a great city to live and raise a family.

    How can you NOT love snow?? It's MAGICAL!!!:)))) So sparkly and fluffy and white. Ever tried living in a country when winter is +/- 0; humid, cloudy, foggy, rainy, slushy, sleety and gray??? Try that for 4-5 months every year then get back to me:))))

    However better than 42' to 52' Celcius on a hot summer season in Asia

      Trust me it’s really not... and I’ve been in +40° too... Ik it’s like you can only take off so much in the summer but you can always bundle up in the winter... but it’s really not any better... especially as the video mentioned wind... and it’s usually at least a little windy here....

    Winter may be long, but it varies so much that sometimes we can score a shorter winter than much warmer climates, the winter of 2015/16 only lasted from Mid Dec through to Late January.

    Surprisingly good documentary, but it is inaccurate to say that flurries in June are common. Winter virtually never begins before October at the earliest, and it almost never goes past April. You may get a flurry in May now and again, but even that is rare.

      Kurtis C. How about we may get a " Dump " in May sometimes , and guaranteed Halloween its Winter

    Nonsense, spent 30 years in Edmonton (1952 - 1981). Always enjoyed the warmth of friends and family , regardless of the weather.

      We just got snow last month on the 19th of September lmao. Its not uncommon. We've been getting quite a bit of it actually in certain parts of Alberta

  • @mohammedgharbiyah6566
    @mohammedgharbiyah6566 Před 7 lety +2

    This is so dumb and inaccurate, it never snows in September and it never lasts longer than April in Edmonton, and there have NEVER been any snow flurries anywhere NEAR the month of June

      +Lea Johnson yes it has snowed here in June. I've lived here along time also and born in Canada. one can only hope that this is a deterant to those few who wouldn't belong here anyways. I love Edmonton Alberta Canada!! Best country in the entire world!!

      @whydoesyoutubeallowpeoplet6357 Před 6 lety +1

      I'm from Edmonton and it just snowed last month on September 19th. And we have gotten snowfall in May and June before. Its actually pretty common in May although it obviously doesn't stick around for long

    • @amandabeaty1492
      @amandabeaty1492 Před 6 lety +1

      Mohammed Gharbiya actually it snowed in Calgary in June. There was snow in July 1992 in Edmonton. This entire documentary I find bang on.
