- This is the first game where my actual main appears. Finally.
Krizalid has two rounds. First round is nothing hard. You only have to be carefull with his axe-kick. Second round is where it gets fun. Krizalid burns away the coat (which is a shame, I really dig this coat) and gains new attacks as well as higher mobility. His most used attack is Typhon's Rage, a tornado. Other than that, I find Krizalid to be one of the easiest KoF bosses. - Hry
I love Krizalid’s design, music, and fight. He’s almost relaxing to fight, easy but just tough enough that he can catch me off guard sometimes. Never understood why people say he’s such a nightmare.
I seriously want Krizalid to return in XV or later games in some way. Would be even better if he returns as a hero, kind of like K9999. Especially since he’s alive again due to Verse.
But please, SNK, don’t kill him again if he comes back. He’s gone through enough

Great boss, great design, great visual representation, and soundtrack is pure badass!

He's considered the most hard-hitting boss of the NESTS saga,next to Igniz XD
He has predictable AI that can be easily abused if played right. Leona's earring bomb for example.
Juan H&T Clone zero in kof 2000 is the easiest
he was predictable, like everyone says, his pattern it's not that difficult, the problem was his damage, it's ridiculus

This 90's-early 2k snk boss was pretty tough. CPU easy Typhoon Rage spam but hell...back then on ps1 had a sense of accomplishment when i killed him with Iori, Real Kyo and Ryo
And K' is badass on his own. very good additon to the series!

Also, Shingo deserves much more respect than that. He almost perfectly replicated Kyo's techniques without having Kyo's training or magic. I am seriously bummed that Shingo still didn't make a reappearance since KoFXI.

He looks way easier than I remember...

@@danielamaro7788 @Daniel Amaro He isnt playing on Level 8 difficulty, thats why. Its also my opinion why this Krizalid is kinda tame than what i used to fight as well~ this Krizalid also didnt launch any of his DM at all~ while he LOVE spamming that on level 8 difficulty

@@KuroNoTenno He's right, the Neo Geo/arcade version he just spams Typhoon Rage, you couldn't even use Iron Trigger -> Second Shoot with K' cuz it'll inch him forwards and he'll get hit by the tornado. Jumping over will make him upper cut you, rolling through it will make him grab/uppercut you. His recovery after using it is like non-existent. You can use Blackout right at the last frame of the tornado's possible hit and he'll recover and grab/uppercut you out of Blackout. He also spams the close and far versions of Typhoon Rage alternating so even if you predicted the range Typhoon Rage, you'll still get hit by the one that lingers up close, and btw, that close one also deflects projectiles too. Neo Geo Krizalid you couldn't even get close to the dude with K'. Unlike the version I'm seeing now, Neo Geo Krizalid doesn't waste time rolling back and forth so you could grab him, or jump around (in his second form) for kicks.
The first form was also a lot harder too. He spams his projectile that hits 2 times with insane damage and beats out all other projectiles, and in this Dreamcast version I'm not seeing his annoying jump dive kick where he jumps backwards and kicks forwards, or he jumps backwards then dive forwards with a kick, or he just jumps forwards then kicks. He blocks less than the 2nd form but it's still a pain.
Fighting him on NPC lvl 5 (out of 7) in 2002 UM is 10x easier than fighting him in the Neo Geo version, I'm not sure how that compares to the Dreamcast version but geez Krizalid was insane in Neo Geo. With Original Zero and Igniz at least you had the choice of AI abuse (jump around and low strong kick, some DMs like King's will proc Igniz to activate his DM too but yours will always hit first, etc) + 30% HP, you don't have that with second form Krizalid in 99 Neo Geo :/

Arcade Krizilaid and yes I mean from the ARCADE machines was waaaaay harder than the console versions.

It's possible that the Krizalid you know is from the arcade version. Console versions have lower difficulty because AI doesn't read your inputs as much.

PS1 version was never released in Europe. In fact, the first version that reached Europe was Virtual Console release.

He's not nessessarily easy, but he isn't as hard as some other SNK bosses.

To fight either of them, you need a certain amount of points. I didn't reach the required amount because getting to Krizalid was harder than beating him.

KOF probably the worst balanced game saga of ever.. is there someone who seen all the teams finale...? No I guess... not a surprise that Street Fighter is THE 2D fighting game...
I in fact saw the ending of every team in this particular game. KoF is fine in terms of balance, and whether Street Fighter is the best fighting game or not depends HEAVILY on preferences. You want to see bad balance? Play Marvel vs Capcom 2.
@@KuroNoTenno I finished all Capcom games, including MVC2, and they are uncomparable in difficult balance, at medium-hard they are still finishable, unlike snk games, where the boss seems fooly programmed just to eat your credit... I don't like spend hours to be frustrated in something that should entertain me... so I always preferred Capcom games, where you beat the boss with just a less of tactics, in 2-3 attempts at max. That's my opinion, I never understand why snk like to frustrate their players with that insane boss difficulty...
@@alessandroferrin9905 Ah, you're talking PvE. Well, my stance doesn't change much. Krizalid here is quite literally one of the easiest bosses I fought in a fighting game.
@@KuroNoTenno I suppose Dreamcast version have a more balanced difficulty, or you play at low difficulty, cause Krizalid in arcade, counters every single move with really hirritating inhuman reaction times... SNK BOSS CPU cheating is 2nd only at MKII Game cpu... 😄
i remember i’ve seen them all, and i’ve been playing random all the time before i get my hands on kof 2000 at that time for console. also depends on your scene, kof 99 arcade scene at that time was nice, never really reach he boss without somebody challenge in the middle at least after defeating k’s new team (final team
