Paris, this is the very best video I've seen on setting up a Shopify Store! Seriously, I have been contemplating doing a online store for awhile, mainly due to Corona Viris. As Farmers Markets and traditional other outlets are now closed. It's just not safe to be out and about. Personally I've always made a good profit by being out and about and I have a local store who carry my products, so never needed an online presence. Covid has definitely changed all that! You really did a gewat job calming my fears, as a lot of videos tear these shops to shreds. That made me nervous about the whole thing. It's nice to see a first hand account and know you can do it without sweating blood! Thank You for going over this platform so thoughtfully. I know I appreciate the effort you put in, when you could have said nope, not dealing with that. Stay safe and thank you!

Yes! Everything is available under the help section. However, to go "live", it's literally a click of a button! :) So then at that point, people can actually visit your website and it's world wide!

Yes! I took all my photos on my iPhone...and I used the app Snapseed to edit. :) And thank you!

Thank you so much for this video in showing us how to launch your site, but I wanted to see more of is examples, for instance when you mentioned header and footer, I think you should have shown your page as an example because so of us just don't know what you are talking about and it's foreign language. I do love the content and when I'm really to launch I will be coming back to this video to help me get through the process, this seems overwhelming just by watching you. Thank you again 😊

What's the best business entity should I use if I'm just getting started and it's only me
Anyone who starts a business is automatically a sole proprietorship. You don’t have to form an entity. Main differences comes down to taxes. I will have videos in this topic soon🙂
When you first started, did you set up a business account or did you use a personal account?
Knowledge Applied I’m still using one of our personal accounts that we deemed for my business. Due to COVID, I just don’t feel like going to a bank inside lol

Patricia Jones I wanted more control over my store and tell my story.
This is hard work setting up a new business praying it pays off in the end. I’m stuck and I’m hoping you can help. I’m saving the actual Shopify set up until last. I’m planning a 15 days to launch campaign. I do not know what to do about email. I want an email using my domain name, where do I get that. I know it’s important . I plan to start the campaign with email sign-up so I can send emails daily to build anticipation. Secondly I would like to do a text sign up so customers can sign up and receive a 10% discount and get notifications. I plan to do a giveaway as well I’m clueless on how to set that up. Please help.
Amiyrah Waddell Hello! As far as getting a domain I used Namecheap.com and I have Gsuite.👍🏽 I use Shopify and Mailerlite for my email list. I setup my discount through Shopify.
