    Hi danga, cool video man.
    Hey mate I'm new to lure fishing, only been in the river after choppers and I wanted to try off the beach. What size reel roughly would you recommend for a 9 foot rod to be used for casting lures off the beach?

      Hey mate anything 3000-5000 is good a 4000 reel with 10-20lb braid is probs best bet 👍👍

    I never seem to get hits on my lures. Any tips or suggestions?

      Fish as light as your can mate and stsrting in the river is a good way to get confidence with lures. Try one of the main bridges from city to lower reaches on sunset and hour after and you will get some for sure. Lighter rods and lines make it easier to cast and cast. Once you get thecfirst few for what ever reason it only gets easier 👍👍

      can i ask how would you connect to the lure? using a clip to the split ring? or tie the leader to the split ring directly?@@DangasTackleTips

    • @DangasTackleTips
      @DangasTackleTips  Před 5 měsíci +1

      @joelloh3895 I either use a ocean legacy split ring clip that has a barrell connected or just a loop knot straight to the lure
