@@user-kp4ii5eu2w This is the problem England have. Everyone hypes them up and gets jubilant when they beat a micro state like San Marino when it's to be expected. This mentality heaps the pressure on when we're in a tournament. Even the newspapers get behind it, football's coming home, etc. When they can't live up to our expectations we get let down but we shouldn't have them to begin with. It's a vicious cycle, we burden them with that kind of pressure to bring glory home. They don't need that extra weight on their shoulders when they are under enough scrutiny as it is.
Fair play to the San Marino goalkeeper, would have been at least 10 without him! Made some astonishing saves.
