a piece of advice for staying cool in the wasteland:
cleric villagers sell a food item that when eaten instantly removes like 20 points of heat and gives a heat resistance buff for a bit. they cost 3 money each and are available fairly early on in the clerics levels. (like level 2 or 3)
Please put obsidian at least in a loop of one on the second block high around your basement so the miner zombies doesn't mine up your villagers, workbench, ect. PLEASE CAPIN
Does it matter even if they mine? It's not like the drop gets destroyed right? He has a super magnet, it will just pull everything to his inventory.
I think the heat in the wasteland isnt necessarily like temperature heat but rather radiation heat that’s basically cooking you from the inside out 51:00

A single blue ice can make a tonne of regular ice in a freezer (same if using packed ice for fuel, regular ice can make a few).
Packed ice is easy to make - just wash regular ice with an encased fan.
So all you really need is a single regular ice to start getting infinite blue ice.
He doesn't even use fan and lava as a furnace. I don't get why he still uses the slow vanilla furnace.
You could make a switch operated Tesla coil in the basment. Would give a nice suprise to the mining zombies
Was sad that lethal company dropped off, but this series fills that void. However short it will be.

Hey, instead of cotton, why not use an iron plate on the fences you use as a bridge? I know it is a waste of resources for iron or gold..but just a minor suggestion..that way lava don't burn them
Pressure plates don’t interact with fences the way carpets do, carpets when placed on top of a fence lower the height of the fence to a single block high (rather than the 1.125 or whatever it is for a regular fence). Whereas a pressure plate doesn’t do that.
Edit: while the carpet makes it jumpable for players, mobs still see it either as a fence with fence height (and thus impossible to jump over) or a transparent block (like air) and thus there’s nothing to even jump on. I can’t recall which.

@@spookkachu3322 iirc that carpet/fence interaction was a bug that became a feature because so many players started making use of it. So Mojang decided not to patch it.

Hey Cap, maybe you can blacklist the block that you dont want to pick up using the backpack mods So you can use the magnet again🧐🧐
That will only blacklist the item that goes into the backpack. The magnet will still pull the item into his inventory.
What you say only works if he has the magnet upgrade for his backpack, then the blacklist would work.

I've been loving the SWAT RIOT set recently.
Got a Tactical electric mace in one hand and a reinforced boxing glove in the other for the extra attack speed, both have Smite V on them.
Tears through hordes in the wasteland like butter.
Fighter set does more DPS (thanks Gas Mask T1 set buff!) , but lower protection.

hey captain ! have you thought about doing some lava trap ? i did that in my world and it work kinda well too plus the barbed pit

i tested the spinning sawblades, just put them in a + shape and made em spin... works decently. but needs alot of stress if u want it to work fast. so not ideal. maybe something similar could be better , i dont know

With how often you resort to melee weapons how come you don't points in the melee damage tree? Attack speed is nice but can only do so much against tankier enemies
honestly at this point 95 percent of his decision making makes me upset. but what can ya do, he plays the series exclusively live so he is constantly bombarded with mid tier advice, and he is so focused on making entertaining content for the streams that he just chooses to no do basic ressearch while playing to find better methods of doing thigns

Shotguns are great for close encounters and big amounts of enemies. Not good for long range like at the top of the subway

Good to know that Captain is the reason that magnets got nerfed.
i would probably bring all the valuable stuff up and away from the basement. at least the RF storage, so it can't be blown up by a mining zombie. if they can do that.

the fact that there are gapples in the wastelands even though there are zombies there... like, why didn't the people there just use the gapples? lol
The same could be said for the police stations, or the hospitals or really anywhere you find gapples. When it comes down to it, it was too little too late. When 90% of everyone is a zombie, gapples can only do so much. But the real reason is simply for gameplay reasons.
Why doesn't Jardon just drive over to the wasteland and then place the helicopter?
I kept seeing you having troubles emptying large amounts of items, if you hold control and q at the same time you'll fast dump anything that your mouse touches

OK, not sure if you have gone back to the wood tower where the netherite block in its parking garage was but Im currently playing the modpack and there was a bunch of crates in that room that's behind the security room that was blocked off by barricades and the pile of food crates of potato's and carrots has a golden apple crate in it. didnt meen to find it and only just found it now.. hope it helps

I'd be more worried about your ME system getting mined and despawning in the basement then whether or not the water wheels get destroyed if I were you...

does anyone know how to update forge for minecraft to the latest version and why some mods don't work even if its the right version?
You can google this for better information. You can manually download forge and put it into your versions folder of minecraft. As for the mods I am not certain, the mod may be too out of date and you may need to look to see if an update needs to be downloaded and replace that mod file. Assuming you are making a mod pack the old fashioned way by downloading a collection of various mods and placing them into minecraft mod folder. I find just using curseforge client easier to download already existing modpacks that others have made and tested.
Jordan is there a remote for the storage system?
If you mean a wireless access, yes, it it the wireless crafting grid. You will also need a wireless reciever to give it a range of distance from the access point. For refine storage it is 16 blocks away from the nearest wireless reciever. If an infinity network card is available you can put it into the wireless reciever to make the rage of the reciever infinite and cross dimensional.

Can't you make money with emeralds using paper and deployer or something? If so, does the stick trade fletcher still exist in the game to get emeralds. That way you could print your own money.
It does, we saw that trade a few episodes ago when he was cycling villagers. Think he even acknowledged the idea of infinite money, not sure why he disregarded it. He may have been more focused on trades to get stuff to build the mutant gun for content.
