@@collector8502True but at least decent modpacks change some stuff around or add integrations to other mods so it's not the exact same every time. If there's incentive to approach it in other ways too I'm fine with it being in all the packs

Captain using my resource pack while being one of the main inspirations for creating my pack. Sad that it had to be through a modpack so the contents of my work were a bit unclear and blurred.
That sucks man. Fantastic resource pack by the way, kinda reminds me of Wynncraft and I love it.

There is no mod pack for Made in Abyss but there is a server called Mine in Abyss which involves a lot plugins that emulates what Made in Abyss is. There are loads of custom mobs and recipes, curse when ascending and tons of exploration from Orth to the bottom layer in the server. It is a nice server where you can chill on from time to time.
At some point I hope he does one of these gun-based modpacks with Xeen and/or Pete. Even if it's just an episode or two where he introduces them to a world he's been playing in a solo series for a while. Just think it would be fun.

@@dontbelasagneI caught a x33n stream recently and he said he wasn’t a big fan of adventure mod packs.
Something along the lines of all the dungeons being basically the same as well as there being a fine line between struggling through dungeons and being too strong for them.

@@coconutshook it's about people who live in a town around a huge hole in the ground, they call it the abyss. These people then venture into the abyss to find all sorts of things. It starts out super tame and cute, but then just goes from 0 to 100 in about five minutes. It is good, but very disturbing....

The skulk is retextured Infested Stone. If you broke the actual “Skulk”, silverfish would have spawned.
21:23 improvable skills is extremely powerful. I would really recommend going for that first. You can become overpowered with the strength stat.
Edit: the more I look at it it seems like it’s changed quite a bit from the last four years. I don’t see a strength stat, unless they have something else for it.

For anyone wondering, the textures are mainly from the Faithless resource pack which I personally use and love! (but not all textures, I presume, since I don't think it has any mod support by itself)
The name of the world Jordan put remindes me of a line from transfomers where Ironhide says "felling lucky punk?"

There is no full Made in Abyss modpack yet, but there’s a server that gets close in a way. The server is called Mine in Abyss. It includes a build team made map, survival mode, custom mobs and the lore relevant game play. There’ll be mob update in the next months to increase immersion.

you can definitely do it in one dimension jardon. it just runs into performance issues. Darkosto was making a new journey 2 the core where the world is a 800+ tall block cave world with escalating difficulty going downwards. It's just a whole hecking ton of datapack work
Some of the buildings in the tree house have hidden chests in the roof area, look up after you’ve looked around in them

Also just a heads up, when I fought the dragon, it had 1 million health.
33:00 there is a Minecraft server for made in abyss, the map is beautiful but the survival server is a bit broken. They do have mobs etc. but it’s without any mods whatsoever

i know you did not see but there is a tab that mentions that if you use a knife on the squid you can get the squid ink, also there is an oxygen mask, or whatever it's called, the quests for thin air get you in the right direction. the pouches also have bullets, justput them on a crafting grid

Now that I have a pc capable of playing modded, this is giving me a nice range of modpacks to play
the amulet gives you a gravestone type thing. if you don't have it, your stuff will fly out like vanilla.

You will need to nametag the goblin if you want him to stick around because they despawn if you don't nametag them
I feel bad for prisonings my villies but it’s only because they get themselves killed. But as an after effect it is easier to trade em in.

You should look into Alex's Caves mod with this modpack. You can get an actual nuclear bomb. Also iirc you can make a nuclear reactor
