I agree, but personally I think Passion and Love should be two separate characters: Love could be all about affection, while Passion could be all about drive. For example, Passion could get excited and in control while Riley is playing hockey, and Love wouldn't get into it as much or be at the controls until Riley and the other players are hugging and celebrating after scoring or assisting on a goal.
These emotion characters are really fun. I think they could be cool for a tv series. Sort of like a kid friendly Big Mouth with tons of different characters representing the complex emotions a child goes through as they grow up. I do understand that having too many new emotions in a movie as regular characters would get too muddiest so it would be cool if they were just introduced for a short episode of the show instead of having all the new characters being characters at the same time and making it too muddied.
I still think love will appear in inside out 2, maybe as a secret emotion revealed later in the film or an extra one. It is one of the basic emotions, and I don't think joy really could resemble love. that is one that we are missing.
If theres Envy and They deleted pride, I think its kinda of best if they kept pride am a teenager and most of us have alot of pride, I kinda want them to add the seven sins of hell i mean they already have anger which gets rid of wrath now, Those seven emotions is what most teenagers have gluttony,Sloth,Pride,envy,wrath,greed but lust though i dont think thats right if they add that since alot kids are gonna be watching this although they could replace lust with love instead, i would be happy if they actually add that, I kind of like anxiety cause we have that too but boredom and embarassment idk maybe they will be a good emotions too i guessm
Just because it's a sin doesn't mean it is going to be a villain, plus not everything has to be linked to religion, the concept is just a rumor going around

Envy doesn't have to be the villain but the common association of envy with the 7 deadly sins would aid in a villain fake out. we can go through the movie thinking she is the villain because of the common perception of envy, like what joy did with sadness in the first movie, only to reveal close to the end that Envy is more like rivalry, where her jealousy is a catalyst for improvement.
