You only need a simple majority in the House to issue an Article of Impeachment. The Democrats might be able to pull that off. But the Democrats barely control the Senate, and will never have the two thirds majority in the Senate needed to do anything about Thomas. The SC judges are untouchable.

@@LarryK-jg6iwthe SCOTUS justices are federal officers and are prohibited in accepting certain gifts- problem there is no ethics committee to oversee SCOTUS. So basically they are meant to abide by the standard of all federal officers but there is no agency to enforce this for them.

He didn't hesitate to appoint a special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden, a PRIVATE citizen. I bet he won't do anything about this request, though. In his attempts to appear non-partisan, he comes off as being incredibly partisan in favor of Republicans.
