  • On my third day of traveling through Croatia I was able to enjoy the impressive Plitvice Lakes.
We had traveled from Zagreb by bus to the surroundings of the Plitvice Lakes. We stayed in a rural hotel just 20 minutes walk from the lakes. As we had arrived in the afternoon we focused on visiting the small town and its wooded surroundings.
The next day, with only 2 degrees of temperature and after an abundant breakfast, we bought tickets to the lakes online, €23 per person. We had our entry time at 11:00 in the morning from gate 2. From there we got on a little train that took us to the beginning of route H, a 5-hour trek where we could enjoy an environment made up of 16 lakes that In turn, they are connected by waterfalls of different heights. It must be said that the Plitvice Lakes have been considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1979.
The truth is that we were able to enjoy the beauty of this natural environment until we were able to take the bus that would take us to our next destination, Zadar.

muy bueno el video. Una pregunta: como llegas al parque desde el pueblo o zona de alojamientos?
