- Odd Nerdrum was censored on norwegian television because he said inappropriate things about the regimé.
I ask; if this is not censor, why did NRK publish a "longer interview" where 5-6 minutes was missing?

Odd Nerdrum er en av de mest interessane personer jeg vet om å høre på. Alltid en masse sannhetsord og visdomsord som man sjelden hører andre steder.
Fikk en gang tilgang til hele programmet usensurert. Husker ikke hvordan nå, men har det lagret.
Den skumle musikken var veldig nødvendig, syns jeg.

Without knowing the details of the case, but being an art graduate myself, although not a practicing artist, I think I can understand Odds's point of view. It goes like this; as a successful artist Odd Nerdrum has overcome "odds" of 99-1 against. But he has had to move heaven and earth to do it. He will in fact have worked 16 hour days without holidays for most of the last 40 years! Then, as soon as he gets a bit of success, has himself a little farm/artists commune, the Norwegian taxman comes along and tries to take it all away by digging around for "back taxes". If I was him I'd be pissed as well. He must feel like the Norwegian government wants to take away his success and make it that he worked for a pittance for last several decades.

Jeg er beæret over at jeg møtte på sønnen til Nerdrum ved valgbodene i år. Han var en utrolig reflektert person som tenker mer enn de fleste. Nerdrum på sin side har helt rett i det han sier. Norge er et nasjonalsosialistisk sted - Liberty for all!

I dont see what these clips are showing, basically everything said here was quoted in different newspapers, and nothing really new came up, nothing really shocking or disturbing either.
I've signed the petition to free Nerdrum. The whole prosecution is bullshit and Odd needs to be set free.
@micros43 Gir dog ham ingen rett til å unndra skatt, satte meg jo ikke inn i saken da den egentlig handler om en kunstner som føler seg tråkket på, men det er vel ingen klausul som sier at reflekterte personer står over loven på noen som helst måte?

@sagengenerator I never mentioned that "rhetoric". I don't equate tax to socialism, no! But today tax is mainly used for redistribution of wealth.

@heolfanog Større enn Munch? Sikker på det? Uansett, NRK har ikke noe med dette å gjøre - de bare sender programmet, de produserer eller redigerer det ikke, siden de ikke eier rettigheten til programmet.

Hvorfor? Fordi Fredrik Skavlan ikke er ansatt i NRK og programmet Skavlan ikke er produsert av NRK. Fredrik Skavlan er ansatt i sitt eget produksjonsselskap Monkberry AS - det er dette selskapet som produserer, samt sitter på rettighetene til, programmet Skavlan, og det er også dette selskapet som har full kreativ kontroll, og redigeringsrettigheter.
Men at hans selskap har produsert dette (delvis?) betyr kanskje ikke at sluttresultatet - sendingen er helt under selskapets kontroll...
Vi kjenner vel ikke den fulle avtalen rundt dette.
@@ralorpa jo, det stod i avtalen med NRK og SVT at de forpliktet seg til å kjøpe programmene slik Monkberry solgte dem. Det ble gjort slik for å best mulig kunne ha kontroll på at intervjuobjektenes ønsker ble oppfyllt, og er en av hovedgrunnene til at så mange som normalt ikke gjør intervjuer - som Nedrum - i det hele tatt stilte opp for dem.
Ah, ser at det kan bli litt saksing ut av det når han nevner NNSAP, det er strengt verboten

@thomkenw On the other hand tax limits should possibly get a look on as people such as apprentices gets such a low income and have to pay possibly 37% of their inceome in tax.
But on the political prisoners, it is clearly stated that tax is something you pay in norwegian law. You can ofc fight it politically, but it will never help your cause if your taken for tax fraud. You will only be seen as the leech on societies ass.
@thomkenw IF you sell your paintings you have a income that income is taxable, every society that has a big country and respect for itself of people living there needs income aka tax, Odd Nerdrum is no different then anyone else. If you dont want to pay tax travel to monaco or other tax free countries, its not free to live here both schools and hospitals are expensive. If you ever get in a accident it can easily cost you your whole years income with none supporting you.

Socialism is to distribute wealth with force. Taxing someone to give to someone else is just this. So how do most parties NOT have some degree of socialism. Do explain.
I dagens monetære system så er det dessverre slik at alle må betale skatt. Jeg trodde kunstnere (generelt sett) betalte sin skatt med den største selvfølgelighet.

NRK is a government owned channel. and everyone must pay around 250 euros a year for it, even if you dont watch. so... its basicly a fascist propaganda channel. i demonstrated and wrote a letter telling them that this is blackmailing and ilegal, and they actually stopped trying to charge me. Norwegian politics are insane. i love Odd.

haha asså jag finner detta lite roligt faktiskt. om det e motbevisat så kommer han inte att bli dömd, är det så att det finns bevis för att han har begått ett brott så blir han dömd så enkelt är det, och 2 år är inte mycket, det kunde varit mycket värre

I don't intend to go into any lengthy discussion about various definitions of socialism, but according to you, taxes = socialism? How do you explain that taxes have been around for centuries before socialism as a concept was even conceived?
He did not say socialistic,but national socialistic and that means Nazi/facistic gouvernment. But I know,its easy to mix though.

Skavlan så litt opprørt over at Nerdrum sa at Norge hadde blitt et "nationalistisk sosialistisk arbeider partei" sted. Sant det Nerdrum sier faktisk.
The only thing he has uncovered is alot of what we already know but not really gotten a official saying on. Get back to me once his all so mighty great findings actually has stopped a war, and not some he stood up against the big bad wolf fanboyism/hippie stuff.
@spritsengiggle Julian Assange has not really done anything for peace has he? Not that Obama or most of the nobel peace price winners in newer time has done so either. You can say Julian Assange showed some documents, but tbh the only things he has done is too show some documents and video clips not stopped any war or prevented one, I would go as far as saying he could have started one.
Exposing war crimes is doing something for peace. Really.
