Here is the original levelling guide - if you're confused how to rank monsters up from this video, refer back to the original one I made
• Yu-Gi-Oh! The Duelists...
Please not that you do not need to win the duel to gain xp. You can simply set your deck leader as any monster other than the one you are levelling, then as you lose the duel, none of the monsters on the field lose experience.
To summarize the optimal fastest levelling; you want to bring out 5 copies of the same monster, flipped face up, and skip turns while your opponent takes as little actions as possible. To do that, you box them into labyrinth with a crush tile infront of them, using Raigeki to destroy any monsters they may play, and Gorgon's Eye to stun any spell/traps/monsters they play in defense mode.
Here are some other quick pointers to make this more seamless:
-If all the monsters in the deck are 1500 attack or above, the opponent will never play one on crush. They will instead play a spell/trap or just play nothing.
-If your opponent plays any trap card in your deck, it will be placed face-down in defense mode. You can simply play Gorgon's Eye after the opponent does this, and the opponent will double tap the card and it will be permanently stunned, and your opponent will no longer touch this
-Don't include spell cards that your opponent is likely to flip face up and disrupt the duel.
-You can pack your deck full of trap cards to increase the likeliness of your opponent playing cards in defense mode to be stunned by Gorgon's Eye
-Do not add cursebreaker into your deck - the opponent will leave it in attack mode, meaning it wont trigger Gorgon's Eye, and you can't get rid of it with Raigeki either. It's just better to not have it in your deck for this.
Here is a list of all the passwords in Duelists of the Roses. If there is not a password next to the card, then the card cannot be obtained via password and must be obtained via other means. For any card you wish to obtain (provided it has a password) simply search through this list:

Summoned Skull requires you to get 3 in a row in the graveyard slots, it's not an easy card to acquire and theres no cheat method to doing it, however for these rare cards you can try my easy 3 in a row method

Dark Witch and some other cards like Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast require you to reincarnate to obtain them. To reincarnate for these cards, simply reincarnate a monster card with a similar deck cost to the card you wish to obtain. If you have multiple memory cards, you can reincarnate infinitely using this method:

With the clovis mod I think blue eye ulti might be a good deck leader. Then you can just use the card(s) that copy the leader's atk/def for a cheap and powerful summon.
If you're thinking of Shapesnatch, it copies the enemy leaders atk/def while it is in attack position, so you can't actually use it that way

Tbh Machine Deck is the strongest in my opinion. Red eyes black metal dragon and metalzoa, limiter removal spam and some of the machine monster's passive adds points to other machine monsters.
I wish there you had a video explaining how to do a fast ranking for low level monster I don't have a good consistant strat yet. Also not sure if you mentioned it i don't think i heard it but if you win with your deck leader being the card you want to rank up, you'll get a little rank up
I don't have a video cause there isn't a 'fast ranking' strat for low level monsters. Best I can suggest is to just keep 3 face up instead of 5 and do the same thing. It will take you 1.66x as long for one monster, but think of it this way; if you wanted to level up two different monsters using this fast rank method and you did 6 hours of levelling one up, then 6 hours of the other, what you could do instead is have three of one low level monster faceup and two of the other for 6 hours, then do 6 hours with the same two low level monsters flipped the other way around. It would take the same amount of time as levelling two of any monster using the 'fastest' method
I'm having a hard time reincarnating cards for dark witch. I've tried berformet , Empress Judge , still didn't give me dark witch . Do you have any idea which card should i reincarnate to get dark witch? I'd be appreciated

I know this video is old and you may have found better xp grinding methods, but you can easily get 5 of any monster on the field by loading the deck with monster reborn and using a juiced copy of the monster you are leveling to kill their summons every turn. The layout of the map is basically a tunnel 1 space to the side of the enemy deck leader start, and they will never move from the starting position making it easy to set up.
No, the info is still accurate. If you do what you suggested, you actually slow the process down so much that you are better off just having 3 copies of the card out, then 2 copies of a different card you want ranked up, then swapping about half way through the process.

In regards to Fairy, it's better to go with Level 2 (might be 1, can't remember offhand) as a leader because it gets Direct Damage halved and LP recovery added to its ridiculous list of abilities which seems worth giving up the extra 300 attack bonus. Also Dinosaurs should be little D because it gets open opponents card and terrain change.
Level 1 gets both, Level 2 only gets one

Which is better?
Well that's totally up to you, they're two entirely different deck leaders. If you rank up Suijin, it will take longer because you can only have 3 out at a time. When you get SD, you'll have increased strength for same type friendlies, so all your nearby Aqua monsters get 500 attack and defense boost. However if you have an SD Aqua Dragon, all your Sea Serpents will cost 2 points less to summon, so you can summon Aqua Dragon or Sea King Dragon from your hand for 4 summoning points, or Kairyu-Shin/Spike Seadra for 3 summoning stars, etc. But its important to note that Aqua deck leaders will not effect sea serpents, and Sea Serpent deck leaders will not effect Aquas. So it depends on what you have more of in your deck and what strategy.

What types of monsters have the extra slots bonus and at what rank do they get it
spellcasters, warriors, beast-warriors, fairies, reptile, dinosaur, sea serpent, machine, thunder, pyro and rock monsters gain the extra slots. other creatures do not gain any. the way these ranks work is that every few ranks you gain an extra slot, so it will take you up to SD to get all of them. You should get your first one after ranking up a few times

you have to face the COM to level up, xp doesnt track in 2 player mode, nor can you even save the game in 2d mode

Have you played the hard mode mod for the game? You should play it if possible it's a lot better in my opinion.
It’s good but it’s really dumb how some ai like weevil gets broken cards like Arsenal bug and yugis deck is arguably worse than the normal game.

Pyro is the easiest to promote to max rank, and it's broken on leader abilities.

I'm getting the feeling this Best Deck Leaders thing is focusing a little too much on the "How fast it takes to level up for what you're getting" aspect of it all. What about Deck Leaders that - while perhaps being unable to put 5 out at a time and may in turn be something of a slog to level up - are sufficiently trashy statwise (as a playable card, not as a Deck Leader) that you can use it as a Deck Leader and not have to worry about accidental demotion due to your otherwise not having any reasonable incentive to put that specific monster in your deck and/or fusing into it?
i.e. I'd assume perhaps Harpie's Pet Dragon might be better than Red Eyes Black Dragon because Red Eyes could be used to fuse into other monsters such as Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon, B. Skull Dragon, Meteor B. Dragon or - in the case that at some later point you feel like transitioning to focusing more on Machines - Red Eyes Metal Dragon (though I dunno whether or not Equip fusions demote like typical fusions do). That and, well.... Is Harpie's Pet Dragon *reeeaaaally* that good in this game? Most I see going for it - other than having nice defense - is that it's probably easy to fuse into Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon with it.
On other note: Are there ever ANY times where you'd say a low-star Deck Leader would in fact be superior to the other big ones? And/or would you say there are any of such that would in fact COMPETE with any of the ones you'd perhaps think to be 'meta'?
I'm not focusing a little too much on "How fast" it takes, I'm picking the fastest out of the good ones. It isn't really practical to use something like Seiyaryu or Mikazukinoyaiba for a deck leader when you can level up a Red Eyes B. Dragon or Harpie's Pet Dragon at 1.66x the speed. You can obviously level them up if you want to, but the differences is you pressing the start button for 2-3 hours straight more than you need to. So, thats why I am pushing for the player to level up monsters that are fastest. Because the other option is picking a card you like and taking 8 hours if you just want to pick up one monster as a deck leader.
Sending cards to the graveyard drops their XP. This means you will demote from SD to SADM. Thats just the game design being bad, however. I think the monsters going to grave from being fused is an oversight and probably they intended to punish you for 'dumping' and also the fact you derank if youre 1 xp below the map is stupid. Not really something I can do anything about.
Is Harpie's Pet Dragon really that good in this game? No, but it doesnt matter how 'good' a card is as a deck leader, it just matters what leader abilities it gets (unless you care about aesthetics).
Anyways, with low level abilities, it depends. I think that Direct Damage halved is pretty strong, but that assumes you are actually going to be taking direct attacks, and also doesn't account for any other incoming damage. Open Card is perhaps the most consistent and strongest - if a DL has both Open Card and Extended Support Range, you automatically flip up cards on 24 out of the 47 tiles on the map, its quite obnoxious. This does things like prevent the enemy from activating flip effects and also means they cant move any trap cards they play once theyre out of the hand unless they play outside our ext range. Also ignoring the obvious knowing what all the enemies cards are face up, the information you have from that ability. Change Terrain seems strong on the surface but it only leaves a terrain trail behind you. Imo it would be neat if there were cards that changed your tile to toon so all non-toon monsters did 500 less direct attack to the DL but otherwise, its very underwhelming. Also, LP recovery is just really genuinely awful. 50 LP per turn is nothing. Its literally 1/80 of the players starting LP. It would take 40 turns to recover the same LP that just Soul of the Pure can raise your LP by if you really wanted to heal. That is actually my least favourite ability in the game. I'm assuming they thought anything higher than 50 was too strong, it's honestly awful.
Kinda sucks that lv 4-5 dragons are just pointless.... I did komouri dragon bc he looks dope....

You get it via the graveyard slots. I suggest passwording fusion materials for it (elves and dark spellcasters) and when you go to the custom duel and duel Deck Master K, they will just keep fusing Dark Elves that you can destroy and claim in the slots.

Now youre almost better of picking a fairy for youre dino deck.
In an ideal world you would have way more information on your XP, when you get abilities, be able to pick from an ability tree, etc. The main point of me putting all this information in a vid is because the game doesn't really tell you anything and people are just going to beat the game before they get a leader ability most of the time.

The Deck I used was a Fairy/Spellcaster Deck that had Dark Magician Girl as Deck Leader yes I used a password beforehand to get Dark Magician Girl into my deck. And she did real good as Deck Leader.
You can't get Dark Magician Girl via password though

So I did show you if you just bothered to watch like 20 seconds of the segment where I talk about aqua deck leaders

In my opinion, nekogal 2 is the best beast warrior leader since shes 6 stars just like panther warrior but you can bring 5 to the field
But you cant acquire a hard copy of nekogal #2......
