The Ritz-Carlton San Francisco sits atop Nob Hill and captures the elegance and old school charm of the Bay Area. I was excited to be there for the start of the Holidays and be able to come out with the neighbors to witness the pageantry of the annual tree lighting at the Ritz. From the singing to the treats to Santa --the Ritz goes all out to celebrate. The service and attention to detail are legendary at the Ritz and if you have never experienced it--you need to add staying at a Ritz in any city to your bucket list! I couldn't be in San Francisco and not experience everything the Bay has to offer. I makes stops at Fisherman's Wharf, Alamo Park, and the Golden Gate Bridge. Oh, and how about those painted ladies? They're symbolic of the famous California Gold Rush. These homes were built to show off. If you were a fan of Full House this block located across from Alamo Park is a must see. The television show ran from 1987-1995 and featured the houses in the intro making them very recognizable. I also found an amazing breakfast spot and tried some home made jalapeno jelly that the place is known for. So good! You are going to want to hit this place up when you're in town!
