same bud, i just used google photos to save my iphone photos to my s7, i still have my iphone 5s and i turned in the 6 for this, everything else wont transfer though, my game data, unless i saved it on facebook. ima go back to iphone next year though, i like it but it lags and i cant edit photos and stuff the way i could on this with adobe photo shop snap seed etc

A step was missing from your CZcams. If you have not created a folder on your SD card after selecting "Move to Album", you will need to select "Create Album" as your next step. You will be given a choice of Internal Storage or SD Card. Select SD Card and name the folder. Thanks for your video.

If you want to move entire Albums from your Gallery to your SD card: Click on APPS then MY FILES (a yellow icon found in the Samsung app). You will see DEVICE STORAGE and SD CARD. Click on DEVICE STORAGE - in that click on DCIM. It will display all your albums. Click on the album you wish to copy to SD card. In upper R, click on MORE then EDIT. Select all items. Then go to MORE, hit COPY. Hit SD Card. Hit CREATE FOLDER so you can name it the same thing you have in Gallery Albums. Hit CREATE, then in upper R hit DONE and the photos will be copied to your SD card. You can go back to your Gallery on Device Storage and you will see that you have 2 identical Albums, except one will have a little sd icon in corner.

When I'm browsing the gallery app there's a picture w/ a play button it which shows what the sensor was picking up just prior to the picture being taken. There is also the option to share that resulting video file, but where are these located & how can they be exported/backed up en masse? are they somehow contained within the .jpg file?

I already set photos I take with my camera to auto save to the SD card. Is there a way to make all other media I save automatically be saved to the SD card too? I take a lot of screenshots and save photos from Twitter, and it's a pain to have to move them all over by hand. Also: Is there a way to have Dropbox automatically upload all media saved to your SD card, instead of from your phone's built in gallery?

Open up the camera, press the gear icon on top left to get to "Camera settings", scroll down to "Storage Location", press it and select "SD card" instead of "Device". Now, all photos and videos you take should go to the SD card. When you take a picture the first time after you've made the settings change, it will create an album called "Camera" but in the SD card. Go to your "Gallery" and you'll now see two albums called "Camera". Both albums have a camera icon on the bottom left corner, but there is an extra SD card icon on the album that refers to the SD card. All your photos are now going to the "Camera" album with the SD card icon. Hope this helps.
when I hit albums, there is no external/ internal option. it's made its own albums. like 10 of them. I did not do this. I'm soooooo lost with this phone. please help me figure out how to get the albums up that you have. so lost. I'm wanting to put everything on sd bc my last phone just died. out of the blue. Lost all photos for work, etc. no I couldn't figure out cloud on that device. I don't even know how to use a regular computer, so this is not coming naturally.
you can keep your all photos and videos in Google photo,with added advantage of accessing them from any where in any machine by logging into your gmail account.This is well secured and does not occupy any space and free up to 15 GB.

This is all nice and everything but where in the hell do you actually physically PUT the SD card? The only possible spot where there's an opening on my phone to do this would be where you put the SIM card. Are we supposed to take the SIM card out and put an SD card there instead?
Lol The SD goes in the same tray where the SIM card is in. The tray has two cutouts - 1 for the sim and 1 for the SD card.

Yes, but how did you create the album? It doesn't just show my external pictures album and it doesn't allow me to create one that safes pictures to the external device either...
Huh? By default there is a folder/album called "Camera" to store all your photo/videos internal to the cell phone. If you buy and insert an SD card, it will by default create another folder/album called "Camera", BUT as he said there is a little SD card icon ( 0:30 ) in addition to the little camera icon. That's how you can tell which album in internal vs. on the SD card. He didn't have to manually create neither of the albums.

You can bring ur SD card to any cvs, Walgreens, Costco, Sams Club etc and they have a kiosk there. Just insert ur SD card, choose ur photo, brighten it up, maybe crop then print out the size u want.
@ILuvTrading do you know how to transfer videos from my galaxy 7 edge to my computer ? i used to have Samsung Galaxy S5 and just upgraded to s7 edge but when i connect the usb to my computer and i click on the connection settings as for transfer files it only shows the pictures but not the videos at all, either memory card or internal memory, i called Samsung but they say it should be the same as the older models but nothing shows, i change the charging setting / method on the top bar but it doesn't show any videos at all, i can see the videos on my phone but not when i open the files on my computer, i did installed the new drivers for the new galaxy because i though that would fix the problem but nothing, any ideas ? thanks for your help.

As soon as I take a new photo I want it ro be saved on ny sd card.

Open your camera like you were going to take a picture. Click the gear icon on the top right...scroll down to "Storage location". Tap on it and you'll get two option "Device storage" or "SD card". Select "SD card". Done! Now, whenever you take a photo or video it will go to the SD card.
I didn't see the sd card icon thing when I go to my albums
+F.k L take out your sd card and reinsert it. Also, can you see your sd card under settings-storage? If you can is it full? did you format it?

+F.k L I had the same issue, then I noticed that you have first to create the album before moving photos there.
GALLERY>Tap on Original ALBUM>Select Photos>Tap on MORE>Copy or Move>+Create Album
After that you will have an album with the sd card icon.

every single angle of moving these files to my card is unavailable.. "Get Space" wants me to delete, or cloud up... I bought a gaddamn big MSD card so it would all go right there and not clog up my phone memory with video and pic. . . heLLLp! lol
