New "group play" strat is that everyone just sit on discord together while doing sanctum individually.

Since we are starting to find out items get converted to gold. My theory is that the gold stack may use the same system as the dust value of rare items. So the better rolled items gives more gold the same as they give more dust.
Having reduced rarity could reduce the amount of gold per map, because you'll be converting more white items than yellow items.
We'll see if this is right when more testing is done. I will run some beach maps and compare gold return with 200% rarity versus 0% soon to see if my theory is correct or not.
if you wanna try and be SURE about the result, go in stand, get -100% reduced IIR and you ll have the answer in 30s.

You can get a ton of negative rarity on kalandra rings for easier testing
@@lori977 captainlance just confirmed what I suspected and yes, I'm trying to squeeze in some rarity. Ring prefix roll 28% and isn't a big sacrifice.

There are kalandra amulets with negative proj speed now, people use it in ball lightning
With very slow proj you can already dps during immunity phases of bosses.
Do the LoK Spec Helix build. Hits infinity times, great for doing Invitations

Regarding the loot I feel like they upped inherent quant but, as announced, killed any juicing so it feels kinda cool during the campaign cuz mobs drop things but the drops are campaign drops so garbo and latter when you need big boy loot it's been caped. . .
i can't believe i made more than empys cut just running sanctum, idk if i like it cuz i feel like they'll nerf sanctum again with this rate.
Ah man, I almost had the perfect ring for you but I picked the mirrored version. It had -110 lightning res and -55 rarity. It was also a shadowed ring so you could take fire as lightning/lightning as fire. I completely forgot Doryani's prototype even existed I feel like I chose poorly

pretty sure I've accidently gone that boat glitch and not noticed cause I've taken what would fit in my inventory then got distracted not remembered I'd collected some of it :D

cant wait for some new builds this league might not be the most rewarding but looks like it might take a while until people upgrade all their towns and try out the new ascendancy
I was thinking of a spell based crit build, also using spectres, wraith lord & bitterbind point, whilst also going primarily support spectres. Get most of if not all crit from spectres, and you somewhat scale minion life & regen to keep them alive. Arc or Lightning Conduit would work I think, or possibly go necro with corpse explosions/ VD?
I'd like to know if anyone would think it could work? My PoE skills are pretty shite tbh.

Not lvl 30 wrath anymore sadly, but still like lvl 10 wrath and noticable dmg besides his ridiculously strong lucky stat
on the topic of ground loot ive run about 300 t16 maps. ive been running expedition since day 2. ive found 3 logbooks and one of them was in white maps. ive tried so many league mechanics juiced and unjuiced and all ive found thats good is running juiced essence in yellow maps. im making 10 divs per hour and ive never been more bored.
I feel like you would enjoy Jungroans Locus Mine build. Its a wander that doesnt need to aim at all lol. Maybe get some spicy little spinoff of it xD

that might be a funny idea actually. fully reduced quant+rarity. try to get no drops at all per map or something. probably not possible
Maybe an unpopular opinion but I think tuning down ground loot and not having insanely op league mechanic feels great, after playing affliction and in 1 week of play solo droping mageblood,hh, kalandra's touch, mirror, and litteraly hundreds of divs on the ground each day, and then after playing necropolis where mirror tier items were worth 30 divs it just feels great to have a "slower" league. It is true that group play suffered a lot as a byproduct, but they just need to find that middle ground.
You are not alone, it's a loud minority that complains.
I don't see how less loot = more fun unless you really enjoy grinding for the sake of it. But everyone enjoys the game differently i guess.
@@GHKiwi The thing is, there is pretty much the same amoubt of loot for the "affordable jucing". It's only the high end farming and the group play that was really nerfed. I understand the problem with nerfing high end farming, but fuck group play (im half joking but still)
@@GHKiwi like I said, in affliction i farmed mageblood mirror headhunter and kalandra's touch in what could be 1 full day of mapping juiced content. In necro I was selling mirror tier items for few divs, after few days of play there was nothing more for me to do. Sure I could make a new character that I could just dump 20 mirrors into instead of my +-2/3 mirror character that basically hit the celing at this point. IT just feels refreshing to have to farm a bit and feel the excitement for a 2div drop (which lets be honest like @GabKaulem said is no different for the low/mid investment strats). Ofc I AM not saying everyone needs to agree and have fun when I do, just sharing my thoughts.
@@rafalqa Maybe it's because I really enjoy trying builds and making weird chars and testing interactions, but I really enjoy very rewarding leagues. I don't see the point of playing the same character for 500 hours doing the same thing over and over, it's too repetitive for me.... But as you said, everyone enjoys the game differently and that's fine, I can see why for people that don't play many chars, too much loot means done with the league too quickly.
Eh I mean as a more lazy player I have way more access this league to curreny then I did last purely because last league I did not get to do the "ultra" strats anyway and due to the currency exchange I can actually sell all the small bits and bobs for 5-10 chaos consistently I probly have already went through 100 div or so in value turnover which I guess isnt much for most people but is a lot for me

Hey look, I'm on stream! I probably went too hard in that comment, but my point was that saying grouping is dead isn't necessarily true. There are a lot of other group strats that don't involve having multiple traders or playing with a 6-man that can generate a lot of currency, at least comparable to solo strats.
Just farm altars.. that's how i've been making my currency. T14+, do that until you can do T17s.
GGGs bandaid solutions have always been a massive problem about this game and i don't see it ever being fixed. the game has drowned in bandaid solutions to the point where you can't tell what the actual problems are anymore lol

Loot tables changed, divines and exalts got swapped
@@heyheywill9313 Exalts and divs were always the same drop rate - what changed is the end game metacraft/bench crafts like prefixes cannot be changed / suffix cannot be changed / multimod - that's the reason of the change

Jesus christ I made more div crafting this league and 6 portalling t17s.
Yeah its funny i havent dropped a SINGLE divine from a map yet, i recieved more divines from the boat than literally from main game...
And chaos also dont drop every map, sometimes i get 1c drop every 2 maps, and the wisps+sentinels dont spawn often enough and arent rewarding enough to make up for the lack of loot from the regular game, its so sad
i dont see the point in nerfing group-strats, since i play with friends i found the game way more fun..
i hate the people who abuse stuff like that.

Ex-gamer normie here with 251 hours in POE. I like your build but need path of building for it. I suspect you won't make a path of building for it but is there a similar one by other creators that I can use?
try to find a similar build in PoE ninja using his ascendency and his chest (defining mechanic in his build) you might find some players playing this and import their pob's

BTW the exile split bug was abused by everyone since the intruduce of "one big exile" even they used it as a early day farm. Look at the vods everytime they chase exile with the full atlas tree, and you tell me that they didn't knew? 🤡

@@flameblade57 not at all, just haven't bothered playing in two years. Tired of 2% being added every quarter and then having to pretend it's a massive gain in terms of novelty and experience. Burn out is a thing so is the obvious divide between the Devs and the players.

@@GHKiwi The rule is obvious if you are aware of it. Ultimately the formula works like this for GGG
Trap players in skinnerbox, flash rewards every so often, reduce over time. Anyone else that breaks out of that controled environment is in violation as they may break the longevity of a league/event/etc.
Reduce loot further overtime further increasing FOMO.
