- Getting back up to speed, fetching some more “Lego blocks”, Drilling and ploughing some more countryside stewardship scheme fields, the new sprayer has landed at our dealers and preparations for harvest are nearly complete.

Very good and informative video this week with the crops updates.
That's some piece of new equipment you have with the sprayer. It has everything but the kitchen sink or has it one ?.
A compressor for blowing the lines out, its own built in pressure washer for cleaning and washouts, the boom lights are very different extras too, It's a new idea to me.
It must be the Rolls Royce of sprayers, and it probably has the price tag to match too.
The combine is getting a the full works service pre harvest to keep it running smoothly during the season. All go with cleaning out the grain stores too busy all round.
Thanks. Yes the sprayer is fully loaded, just about, it will soon be in action.
Surprising to see sieves in combine full of Roland food on service Yes few acres cut around me but rest needs a few more days of sunshine to ripen them up. But hopefully no heavy rain or high winds in the mean time
To be honest I was surprised to see all the beans in the concave, never cut beans before and they are prone to sticking in the sieves. If you have a lot of beans you can get a wider concave and they don’t stick in it.
look forward to these. I start work on a vineyard in a week or so, my first official job (16)
Thank you, good luck in your new job, hope you enjoy it.
i remember the round up advert sunshine in a can 😁
Nice update, combining by us well into osr.
@@gunton21 thanks, our OSR is two weeks away. Winter barely first this year.
Interesting and thanks for posting.
Thanks, glad you found it interesting.
Brilliant wee video
Thank you 😊
Great content as always 👏
Thank you. 😊
Good video 👍
Thanks 😊
The APS has a few bent bits. I have never combined beans but would it not be better with a wider concave .
I had a large stone in the combine last year, that’s what bent the APS segments. They were straightened before the trunking was refitted. This was the first time I have cut beans last year. If you did a lot of beans a wider front concave would be better. The rear section of the concave has wider gaps, that’s why it runs clean.
We dropped a set of VF Michelin rowcrops and VF Michelin 650s and a set of VF Bkt at Brigg the other week not sure if there yours or not
Yes they are ours Pete, it will look better on them than the transport wheels 😂.
Get Whitwell in to do weigh off when you get it
Was you at Elsham top next to petrol station yesterday?
I wasn’t but George was.
why dont you get an agrifac condor self propelled no one has a trailed sprayer now a days
There was a massive price difference in trailed and SP. You would be surprised how many SP users are switching to trailed sprayers, or seriously thinking about it.
