- Hey friends, Tamiya's BBX on the BB-01 Chassis is rocking A Castle Cremations power plant, a torque ridden Savox servo and boy oh boy is this fun. Would it be better as a 4WD? I would buy it. Today's adventure is the seasonal refurbishing of the ball pitch. You guessed it- Launch Lumps. What better way to have some fun and not ruin your RC. Enjoy the edit and the funky tune! I know I did.

Cool, great shots!! Looked fun too.
Ohh soo much fun! Though I did forget to glue one side of a back wheel so it went all wild. But soo much fun! Thanks!

Thank you!
Awesome run Mauzy this looks like a lot of fun.
Hey thank you! It was tons of fun. I really like this buggy. The build and the running. 👍👍
Man! I want to get one too!
Ohh I bet buggies ( nice ones of course) would look terrific on that track you use!
Man you found the perfect spot to go romping around with it!! They might be a little upset that you dug up the ball field though... LOL! It looked great out there in flight and you captured some great footage of it!
Haah! I took out my tractor to dig up the field ! Naa, they dumped new sand there to redress it lol. I managed to also get some nice on board footage, however my Instago2 has become possessed and I may have to send it to China to get repaired. Rotted. But at least the trusty Gopro worked out! Cheers and thanks for checkin in!
great video mate. i generally always use savox servos. best bang for the buck👍will have to bag this buggy maybe next year😊👍
Hey thanks! Yes, the savox are reliable, a little more $ but worth it. You will definitely enjoy this kit! Cheers!
Oh wow, you found your own launch lumps! How cool is that?!?!?! Awesome jumping, this buggy looks sublime in action and I can only imagine how nice it is to drive! The suspension looks so supple and you seemed to get excellent traction on this RWD beauty. Damn you, A, I want one even more now! Was that really a 4 minute video? The time just flew by! 😎👌👊👍
Ahh, I did warn in the build video that I was not to be help liable for RC purchase influencing. ( to be fair I think I definitely bought a few kits after watching your vids :) It is really plush and the CC power plant and motor really make it smooth and peppy. So glad you enjoyed it! Thank you dude!
That looked like a blast! Such an awesome looking buggy!👍😊
Hey it was! So much fun. Thanks!
Toi aussi beau montage il doi surment etre puissant avec ce moteur
Merci! Oui, une bonne combo pour celui ci!
Ah ha Mauzy! A great run with the amazing BBX. Looked like a whole load of fun. Hope that nothing broke 😊😊best wishes 😊
Yes! It really was a whole load of fun on the launch lumps. Nothing broke, however my run was cut short due to the rear left tire was not glued properly... It got full of sand and the foam started popping out etc.
All fixed and waiting for a less than wet and freezing day to get back out :)
Thanks and cheers!
Great run video! Did the ball diffs need any adjustment after your run? Do you think the transmission will be able to handle the power of the Castle motor over the long haul? I’ve been thinking of getting this buggy and either a Castle 4600kv or 5700kv motor. Glad I ran across your video.
Nice thanks! I will need to tighten the ball diff a little I think, not much since I have not run it on high traction surface. As for tolerating the brushless system, the instructions say to use brushless, like the XV02. However I did install the slipper clutch as a safeguard. Cheers!
HobbyWing QuicRun WP-10BL120 G2 120A 4S waterproof Speed controller and 3652/3660 Motor Set
what do you think of this combo for the bbx can get it real cheap
What KV motor in there? It sounds nice and beefy. However I would not run a 4s on this platform. I would stick to 2s. Faster you go more likely to smash up this beauty :)
ESC battery motor links and controller??
Hey, Are you asking what's inside? Using a Castle Cremations combo, 2s random Lipo, maybe Gens ace. DumboRC Tx/RX
Oh yeah, if you look back at the build video of this BBX you will find all the details of what I used. Thanks!
