The Ukraine Puddle swells, but Captain Mad and Finn bravely navigate it in their Humvee, reaching Sinner Mountain loaded with firewood.
Despite a six-hour delay, the Gypsy Train finally arrives at the camp. Children laugh and play amidst the mist, while Captain Mad powers the generator, bringing warmth and normalcy with freshly brewed coffee. The Lieutenant, Captain Mad, GoodCop, and PeaceMan gather, ready for the day's challenges.
As the sun rises, the camp comes to life. Plans are made, and the spirit of adventure fills the air. Welcome to another day at Sinner Mountain Base Camp, where nature's beauty and human resilience shine. With the rain gone, training for the novices resumes under clear skies. Today's agenda includes breakfast, wood chopping, birch water harvesting, bread baking, and knife throwing.
Captain Mad and the novices venture out to gather supplies for the Dutch Oven Project, while the camp focuses on perfecting bread baking. The day begins as usual with Captain Mad brewing coffee, but this Easter Sunday brings sunshine and new beginnings. Jessi awakens, and life returns to the field. The youngsters delight in playing by the water, undeterred by watchful helicopter parents.
After a peaceful evening with shrimp and a Nosferatu tarantula, the weather turns rainy again by morning, ending the campaign as it began-wet and drenched in every sense. ‪@peteruppert‬
