The VW 2.5s are a joke actually, NA only. Only the Audi gets the DAZA 2.5 turbo. Those E888 2.0s are great too.

Would be a good run if the zl1 was on a tire. However I think the 170 would have it up to its limiter due to its gearing and traction. Car is a monster.

If we're talking about Hennesey performance exorcist It's been all over the net that they have lots of call outs and won't race any other performance shops Only against themselves on their private track.. lots of Customer problems Demonology & several other tubers Did videos on them

Tcu doesn't give it more hp just faster shifts maybe you mean ecu.
@@kyoaklandIt does actually allow more power and torque to be transferred to the wheels, so it isn't only about the shifts.
APR in their website do explain how it works
@@kyoakland Correct on HP, but incorrect on torque- the TCU limits torque-- ECU will only provide as much torque as the TCU will command. No unlocked TCU and you're torque limited.

The GTi is just 2800 Lbs. So it needs just 400 whp to beat FBO E85 Camaro/Mustangs.
For that the GTI needs bigger turbo and E85 tune

Damn the current gen GTI makee 350-400 whp with bolt-ons??? Thats what prwvious gen golf r's made. But i guess for the price dealeeships ask for them they better make more power tfan before. So a bolt on new gen gti is well into the 12's then.
Yes! New Garrett Turbo makes jam in stock form and high pressure and low pressure pumps are good until about 380whp. You can literally just dump E on the tank with a Stage 1 E85 tune and make well into the 350-360whp range. Like that they do mid to high 12s 1/4 mile.

Yeah low $30k for a base model GTi is pretty wild. I remember the mk7’s were going for $22k-$24k for base models. Not to mention interest rates are ridiculous now.
Actually in stock form it makes 240hp to the wheels, that computes to about 270+ at the crank.
That's why it always performs better than what the rated factory horsepower numbers suggest.
I mean the MK7 GTi with just a stage one was mid 12s and occasionally crept into the 11s FBO stage 2. So this is more of the same except the Mk8 just seems to have a little more juice…
