Also has LOUD audio, even tho the speakers aren't in necessarily prime locations it really projects!You do need to get a case for this bad boy IMMEDIATLY though as it doesn't come with one.Battery life is really good! Standby time us FANTASTIC. This guy can go about a week on standby and be just fine. The screen is massive so the longer you have the screen on, brightness especially, it will effect battery life. I am very happy with it though!One thing that I didn't consider is that since the screen resolution is so high, viewing ticktocks/ reading webtoons can be slightly blurry. There is no way to turn down resolution either, so it just be like that.Would still judge this bad boi at 10/10 for my first tablet. I've had it 3 months now and its not shown any evidence of "slowing down" or anything. Love it!

Hey! I faced the same problem described in the video about the magnetic case. I realized that it only happens with the non original case that you find on Amazon. So I purchased the Samsung magnetic case and there is no problem anymore with the pen!

It shouldn't. But if you get a flip case, there's not much reason to get a tempered glass. I've used the Tab S4 with flip case for more than a year and there are no scratches

Can handwriting using stylus be used as an alternative to typing on laptops? I wanted to buy a device for both reading documents and taking notes (typed ones). Will tab S6 be a good buy as ipad 2019 with pencil is much expensive here in India than tab S6.
My ipad pro 12.9 and apple pencil 2 is still the best combo for drawing and taking notes. I have used Tab s4 but honestly the feeling of apple pencil 2 and ipad pro is unbeatable .. Double tap gesture and superb grip makes it class apart. ☺ This samsung s pen also looking good though

iPad is better for drawing because of Apple Pencil and they have really good drawing apps.

Note sure about large textbook, but I use "write on pdf" app and it works well for me.

OneNote on the Tab S6 has this annoying shift or jump after letting go of the pen. Makes drawing precise connected lines very difficult. Keep on the other hand is too basic on features.
Yes agree. This is very annoying. Do not notice that on the default Samsung note app.

It writes alright, but it's best to hold it whole writing so it's not rocking about because of the camera bump.
Can you compare the note taking experience of S4 with S6?? I will buy mostly for note taking and Dex which, as I heard, will not be continued.

The built in Samsung note app is the best
People. All shown programs complete shit, the functionality of obratan, or very complex. The only program you need is s-note. The only problem samsung its place only on laptop a series of phones and tablets, or allow to set. Previously, s-note was the default. Samsung notes has taken her place and is standing in the drain off the box. This program in comparison with s-note full shit. S-note is able to fully translate handwritten text as samsung notes, but here you can write and draw and print on the same canvas. you should be able to import pdf on OneNote. If you cant import it on the mobile app just import all the pdfs you need on the desktop version then theyll sync and appear on the mobile verison automatically.

@@teohyc my tablet doesn't have S Pen. I went ahead and checked out some of the apps, and while they do work, they don't have all of the same features using a regular (passive) stylus. Because it's not set up for S Pen, I don't think that any other active stylus will work either, but was pleasantly surprised, at least to see that the apps still work.

i recently ordered a tab s4 for its slight higher bezels and battery capacity......also the S pen is thicker ...
Mostly because of outdated processor, the processor in the Tab S4 is already 2/3 years old... the S6 got the newest 855 chip from Qualcomm though i dont know if that matter for notetaking
In any case, the pens S pens are compatible between the S4 & S6 (and actually other S pen using devices, such as the note), so you can use a tab S4 pen with tab S6 if you prefer and the other way around. The only downside in the S6 case is that a different pen will not attach magnetically & will not fit into the official case "pocket".

That depends on the app you use. Some app will indeed smoothen your lines.

You can expect the same performance.
The most important advantage of S6 is the fingerprint scanner. I use s4 and I always have to lift the tablet to activate it with my eyes or enter a graphic key. On the s6 tablet will not have to pull every time to the eyes. Another advantage will be a wide-angle camera in the premises for photographing objects in close quarters and, if necessary, adding to the abstract.

If you get Tab S6, try the S Pen that comes with it first. If you don't like it, you get then get the S4 pen. Writing performance is similar.

I would prezli to buy a pen from the tab s3. The most beautiful, convenient, with belt clip, conveniently tapers towards the tip, which gives use at high tilt of the pen, and the pen from s4 breaks away from the screen with large tilt and onog gramotki. Additionally, the pen ѕ3можно for the clip to attach to the cover of the tablet is repeated, and no additional polacco, and even in the stands don't mesh. Stylus from s6 believe very unfortunate because of the blunt almost square tip at the tip. Why something to think of when pen, pen and karandashi and their shape was invented long ago. It is a pity in s3 there are no functions of the accelerometer.

It may sound weird but as a beginner in note on tavlets and digital artist i find it to be easier to turn of pressure sensitivy.

iPad’s main selling point is there are many good drawing and graphic design apps. On Android, there are fewer and the best one is Clip Studio Paint (really good). Other than that, the Tab S6 is better than the iPad in almost every other way.

If it's just taking notes, both are good. iPad is better at drawing. If you want to open large files, perhaps the Tab S6 is better since it has 6GB RAM while the iPad Air 3 only has 3GB RAM, and Apple Pencil is not included.

S Pen tip is softer and smoother. For writing, you want to write fast, so S Pen is better. Actually, it's more accurate to say that it's different as some people prefer the hard tip.

Being a freshmen, i am using hand me down Tab S3 for note taking a compilation of slides. I have plans on upgrading to the Tab S6 but my friends who also decided to get a tablet have decided to get the latest IPad. Any opinions on how they two compare?
I don't think it's worth the upgrade if it's just to take notes.

@@papagoja iPad air is a good buy. well in iPad you can take notes in such awesome apps such as goodnotes 5 and notability. Apple pencil is also a good buy its tip is really good tho based on reviews. In goodnotes or notability in IOS you can do creative notes and calligraphy, and good arts in Procreate

They have similar performance for note taking. If S4 is much cheaper, that may be a good choice.
You can also consider Apple's Ipad Air 3 and the incoming seventh generation Ipad. They are not pricey like the apple's pro models,support the apple pencil and pdf apps are better optimized for ipads. You can use apps like Good Notes or Notability. They also give you a Beats Solo 3 for free if you buy the air 3 directly from the apple store this month.
